ages of those who play oddworld games

As a guy who is over 40,i was wondering what the average age is of the people on here.or am i the only proverbial "Old Git"? BTW The only reason i ever brought a PS1 was because OWI released AO (and a game called medievil)

Most of the people here are either in high school or in college. Some people are a little older than that, or very much older than that. Some are younger. But high school/college is pretty much the average age.

After reading a lot of the different posts,etc,throughout the oddworld universe, i have come to the conclusion that there are a lot of mature heads on young shoulders on here that would put some of my so called "adult" friends to shame. i too thought Patrick was an adult,along with Alcar,it just goes to show how wrong we can be about our perceptions of people. (Slightly off topic) Alf-shall-rise,just doing the lunatic asylum level on medievil is enough to have me rotfl

He is sort of a teenager, being that 19 (although not usually viewed as that) is still considered a teenager year.

Why thank you for the compliment Corpuschristie. We have been given the comment of being unusally mature for our seemily young ages, that have been known to be quite the opposite. We hope to carry out that comment throughout the ages.

19 is over 18 though. Over 18=Adult in 90% of the world. And Alcar is female.

I'm flattered that you think my vocabulary varies into the more technical world of speeches. I, myself, am surprised that even college students believe that I'm in high school. But that is being rather un-modest, so I will drop the conversation of how I speak.

Anyway, I have to agree, in most countries 18 is viewed as coming of age, so I have to agree with you. P.S., Alcar won't be proud to read that response.

I won a trivial pursuit game against a group of university students who got top marks in Christian colleges by 1 point. About half of the ?'s were Biblical, and I've not even read 30% of the Bible. And I won.

First started playing Oddworld when I was about eight. I'm 19 now, but feel like I'm 40.

I'm nearing 19 now, I've been playing OW games a few months ago. The first time I played an Oddworld game (AE) was in 2002. *calculation* So, I was 14 years old back then.

Oddworld games have this habit of making adicts of ALL ages. Must be the environment itself, and it's not this 'jump-on-mushroom-and-it-disappears' kind of thing either. Fit for all ages.
