I tried to design Kana's father, Adahy.
I decided to leave him in that gothic-like design as in the last pictures. I know, there's a copied face in that picture with only different marks. I was too lazy to draw my favorite-head design again but wasn't happy with the marks too. So I traced it. Sue me.
When I drew Adahy I listened to the songs of Lordi, especially "Monster, Monster", "Night Of The Living Dead" and "My Heaven Is Your Hell" (haha, so damn matching XD) to get better into his gothic nature with that hard rock stuff. I noticed how much I like gothic designs.
Adahy has a really cold personality and he never smiles or is happy at all in his whole life. I don't even know how Mahina (the mother of Kiho) could talk him into making her pregnant and even raise their child (he's not a good babysitter, he's a carnivore and the strongest one of his species.) When Mahina went into the forest, Adahy even attacked her and wanted to kill her because she lived with the humans. And he hate all humans very much. He doesn't really eat the humans when he sees some. He only spreads them all over the ground. But this time, Mahina was more powerful than him (what impressed Adahy deep inside) and her counterattack paralyzed him for a short while. Adahy was still conscious enough that he could hear what Mahina said to him. And even he could not move his body, he could answer her. It was a magic thing that Mahina did to him. When their conversation went to an end, Mahina took her spell away from him again so that he was free again.
I don't know what exactly made Adahy agree in the end. Probably, Mahina made a very good pact with him. Plus, she had to tell him not to kill his son when he raise it. Because he probably had.
A few years later, when Kana was grown up he left. And from then on, he did not consider Kana to be his son anymore but his rival if they ever meet again. And Kana knew that. They never had a father-son-relationship at all and to be honest, Kana always disliked him but never dared to tell him that.
After Kana gave his half-sister Kiho a home in the forest, he left her while she was sleeping to get some food. Then she woke up and wondered where Kana went and left her safe place to look for him without realizing the many dangers.
Suddenly, Adahy saw her walking in the forest, which he always considered as his "very own" forest and also saw that she was a half-human and attacked her without warning. Kiho tried to defend against him as good as she could but her skills were not as good as her mother's. She could not hurt him bad. And he didn't stop attack her over and over again too. In the meantime, Kana has smelled his father being near by his half-sister and ran to her to save her. He knew about his hate against humans and all dealing with them. He appeared just in time and a fight between him and his father began (I'll probably draw a picture about it). It was a matter of life and death. And Kana was, as a half-species, really more weak than his father who was the strongest full-species in the whole forest (my main characters are no super-heroes, you know!). And Adahy's scorpion-like tail is toxic too and Kana's one is not, because he's not a full-species like his father.
Kiho tried to help him as good as she could when she saw him getting hurt more and more. But not even her powers could help him... or herself. She got wounded as well and Adahy would have killed them (his son first) if there was not the human hunter around who shot an arrow in Adahy's chest. Adahy didn't die but was hurt. Yet not hurt enough to ran to the hunter he noticed now and kill him.
Kiho and Kana had enough time to ran away, to the safe place where Kana lived. Kiho wasn't as badly hurt as Kana and took care for her half-brother. And he survived.

The residual pictures are just designs for my journal. Don't mind them...
