Work at Rupture Farms (v.6) -

Ike looked at all the people heading to the "R+R" section and noticed it was time to go to sleep. He walked drowsily to the room, and found an empty bed near the window. He pulled off his trenchcoat and folded it up neatly next to his pillow.

In his solid black loincloth, he sat down on the bedside and kind of leaned on his knees. His whole body was tired. From his dark feet, to his purple hands... it was time for sleep.

"Well, good night, and sweet dreams everybody!" Ike called to the other inhabitants. After doing so, he sat in a cross legged position on his bed. He began to meditate, and by the time he was asleep, he was hovering about 5" above the ground.

Ralph heard the call for all the employees to return to the R and R. Since those crazy vykkers had worked on him he no longer needed sleep for some reason, but he wanted to avoid questions being asked, so he left the grinders and followed the rest to the R and R. He found an unoccupied bed, lay down, and closed his eyes...

Aida followed the rest of the group, nervously entering the R&R room. She watched as worker after worker took a bed- They all share the same room? she wondered- before she moved forward, keeping her eyes and head down. She moved to the very back of the room and took a bed well away from any occupied ones. It fairly comfortable, she was surprised to find, and found herself quickly falling asleep.

As he entered the door into the R&R Room, Wanderer was, indeed, nervous. he kept his blade close at hand while the other employees just shortly glanced at him in a funny way. Wanderer mumbled indistinguishable things to himself as he got nearer to his bed. Before even climing into it, he checked underneath the bed and under the covers for anything suspicious. The last time he ever slept in a bed was nearly two months ago. After seeing a bloody corpse underneath this other bed at a different factory, he slept on the floor most of the time. But then he quietly told himself that everything was going to be fine. He climbed into bed and just decided to stay awake for a while, until falling asleep ten minutes later.

"Well, almost every job is fine for me. Or i hope so." - Anza said to Otto, and looked at Rick in the kitchen. He tooked his bottle again and taked some water.
"You have any good jobs for me Otto? I can start from bottom. Cleaning and stuff. And maybe someday i can go to meat prosessing or something else. I just want a job. If thats possible?" - He asked from Otto.

Somi had been hoping the fuzzle wouldn't be sleeping in the tower, but it seemed Sturg arranged things before she could say otherwise. She followed the toher two back towards the tower and explained to Alexander, "They glukkons do still catch animals, but at least being here gives us somewhere safe to live. They just can't get us out, there are too many and we're too used to living around glukkons to run into their traps. We can't really destroy the factory anyway, even if we all tried, and you have to admit you couldn't destroy the whole place on your own."
They arrived at the tower and Somi used her web to pull herself up onto a ledge, just in case. She still didn't trust the little animal.

Jim stumbled back when the native disappeared. His immediate thought was that he had to tell someone. His second thought was that the glukkons were probably both in bed right now and he didn't fancy trying to wake them up.
He thought of who else he could tell: sligs were an immeditate 'no' of course, and he was worried that if he told Anni she migt get excited about it in the wrong way. Something about that mudokon radiated a sense of danger.
Then he remembered that black-skinned mudokon girl he'd met the previous evening; she was on the Cartel's side and he doubted she'd be afraid of waking up Arnie. He hurried towards the stairs, hoping to meet her before she went to bed, and ran into Anni, Kix and Dean on the way.
"Jim, we were just about to go to the tower to get you!" Anni exclaimed.
Jim tried not to look so frantic. Evidently he failed because she asked, "What's wrong."
"N-nothing," He lied, "Just... ran into some sligs."
Anni nodded, understanding. "We were going to get some food from the cafeteria. Did you want-"
"No, I'm ok. I just want to go to bed before too many sligs get there."
Anni shrugged. "Ok. See you in the R and R then."
Jim nodded and hurried upstairs.

* When nearly all of the Rupture Farms employees started pouring into the R+R, Shickwayla woke up. She looked around and was a bit frightned by what(and who) she saw. She had never been in a multi-gender sleeping area before, so she was a bit self conscious. After all, she wasn't wearing very much clothing and didn't have any make-up on. She turned over in her bed and tried to tune out all of the noise around her, hoping no one would crawl into the same bunk as her by mistake!

Opple wasn't effected a bit by the various creatures flopping onto their bunks above and below her. She was (obviously) a very heavy sleeper. She also snored loudly. Shickwayla hated it too. Every few moments, she would nudge Opple and make her turn over in order to muffle the annoying sound. Opple was used to it though. She had always slept in the same bed with Shickwayla. Well, ever since she was adopted of course. Tonight it was different. Opple was sleeping in the bed right above Shickwayla. Because Opple wasn't beside her may have been, at least, part of the reason Shickwayla couldn't sleep.*

Alexander II listened to what the Paramite said, finally understanding Rupture Farms's dilemma. As they entered the tower the little Fuzzle spoke up to the Paramite above him, "I know I can't take out Rupture Farms by myself, and I don't want to endanger anybody else." The small carnivore whimpered for a second.
"I'll get those Vykkers one day! You just wait and see." With that the minuscule creature drifted off to sleep.

Doe noted the many Mudokons who entered the R&R... so many of them industrialized ready to bow down to the Glukkon filth... it was so revolting. The Mudokon warrior could feel the spirit of the scrub(Jim) he had revealed himself too... he was still drowning in fear. Perhaps Doe had chosen wrong when he revealed himself to his shackled brother. Yet that was unimportant, the past was the past Doe could not undo what had been already set in motion. Interesting enough the Mudokon warrior felt a second spirit close to nature... it was much closer. In the morning if Doe could get to this Mudokon alone he would have to talk to him, until then the proud Mundachee crept back into the shadows, restless.

OOC: Watermelody, I'mnot sure that your character's background can fit, she'd have had to registeror whatever with Arnie specifically at the beggining of the RP, since the old RF got destroyed, and the RP started on wellnigh the first day the factory was open.

IC: Sturg went into the corner next to Somi's web, and curled himself up almost into a ball but still on his. He turned his back to the room and dozed off.

IC: The morning atmosphere above Mudos was beautiful, Charles the Slig stood on the balcony of the blimp he was riding, leaning over the wooden fence and was enjoying the sight. Suddenly, a loud crack was heard from the old fence, he looked down and realised that the fence was breaking, he didnt get any chance to react before the fence broke and he fell out of the blimp. He fell down and screamed for his life, then he saw that he was going to land at Rupture Farms, luckily he fell onto a long pipe wich costed him his metal pants. *CLANG* It said when he landed, then he spun around 90 degrees and his tail detached from the pants wich fell down to a train platform below and got totally scrapped. "Whew, im lucky those werent real legs... Oh no... oooh dear! This is not good." He said as he was holding onto the pipe wich was bursting at the base. "Oh dear... eeeeeeEEEEEE-" *BANG* He landed on his face next to the pants. "Ohw, mwy hwead!" He said still having his face pressed against the ground. A FeeCo train just departed and somehow, his scrapped pants was still working, but they where also malfunctioning, wich made them walking towards the edge of the platform. "Oh the horror! There goes my pants..." Charles said while looking sadly at the pants wich where at the edge and fell down to their doom. 13 seconds later a small metallic thud could be heard from under the platform.

"Meh. I guess i gotta find someone in this old dump." He and started crawling towards a door. He pressed a green button with a sign above it labeled "DOOR OPENER - PRESS ME" The door opened and he crawled in. When he was inside the factory, he looked around. Seeing blood stains on a wall, an old grafitti paint on another wich said "MOLLUCK SUX!". "Great, how am i supposed to find anyone in this old dump?! It sounds all empty! And besides, I NEED SOME PANTS!" He said angrily to himself and crawled into a door with a sign above it saying "Elevator". He managed to pull the lever in the elevator and it started going. "So this is Rupture Farms eh? Man i cant believe that the power in this old hole still works after all these years! Eww, and it smells bad too. I dont think anyone has ever cleaned this place." The elevator stopped at level 2 with a loud clang. "Hey, whos that?" He thought to himself as he saw a weird creature silhuette down the corridor wich looked like... no, it cant be possible, Meeches are extinct... but, that is... that, that is a Meech! Impossible!

Charles nearly fainted and tried to keep his balance from falling down the long shaft. "Woah! I really need to get going... Alright charles! " He thought to himself "No more Meech fantazying!" And as quietly as he could, he crawled into the nearest door. He could smell food from this room "Ah, food! Im starving. I better go see where it comes from." Charles thought and crawled further towards the smell and ended up in a empty cafeteria "Oooh! I smell Scrab Cakes!" Charles said and crawled up to the shiny metal bench infront of him and climbed up on a chair. He took a Scrab Cake and jumped down from the chair. "Well, i gotta see if someones alive in here.. Also gotta grab some new pants. Heh!" He hysterically said with a mouth, full of Scrab Cake, and with that he crawled out of the cafeteria.

Ike suddenly awoke from his meditation, and sensed something out of place. Someone wasn't in bed...

Ike idly walked out of the R+R room and towards where he sensed the disquietment. He saw a slig (Charles) "sitting" there with some Scrab Cake in his mouth. Ike walked over to him and began to speak.

"Hey there- *Yawn*-... whatcha' doin'? It's time to sleep... The beds *yawn* are over this way..."

Drowsily Ike pointed in the rough direction of the R and R room. He then turned back to the Slig and (in-between muffled mumbles) spoke again.

"If its a job you're lookin' for... *yawn* you might wanna wait until mornin' to *yawn* get one... boy I'm sleepy. If ya' want to get some shut-eye, follow me..."

OOC: Sorry, but not much is going to happen until the next RP starts, and that won't start until everyone is asleep. Interesting intro to RF tho'!

OOC: i mayaswell pop up now, seeing as i down wanna wait ti'll tuesday (AUS time) for splat to come back

IC: The FeeCo train sped along its tracks, ratteling the carriges and their only occupant. Scri sighed as the carraige bumped up and down, wondering when this damn trains going to stop. She didnt even know where she was going since she was bundled up and chucked into the train after her latest escape attempt from the labs.

The train slowed and finally grinded to a standstill, causing Scri, who tried standing up, to do a nice little dance of clumsiness. She disembarked the train and took in her surroundings. "so this is where they sent me..i thought this place had been exploded or something..". The lone mudokon walked around the platform, looking for some sign of inhabitiation. 'its pretty quiet for a factory' Scri thought 'I wonder if they have any tea here..'

After a fruitless search of the platform and the ajacent corridor, Scri slid down the side off the wall and decided to just wait here until someone came.

Ike walked off, and checked some other places around RF. He then noticed a mudokon (Scri) sitting on a wall in one of the corridors.

"Well hello! *yawn* You must be new here too... Well, it's about bed time so... if you want to follow me, I'll take you to the R and R room..."

IC: "Ah, thank you kind Mudokon. I will make my way to the rest rooms immediately. And tomorrow i will hopefully find out who the boss is in this huuuge place!" Charles replied to the Mudokon and finished off his scrab cake and jumped down from the chair he was sitting on. He stretched his arms and went searching the rest rooms.
