Tim's 3d Art Thread

I will use this thread to post my 3d models in.
This bechause I'm busy with a couple of diffrent models and its kinda pointless to create a new topic for every model.

Previous Models (posted):
Grub Fishing Hut (Never finished and file lost)
http://oddworldforums.net/showthread.php?t=13287

Blitzpacker Gun (To be updated)
http://oddworldforums.net/showthread.php?t=15089

And to anwser a few of the questions that where asked me.

Are you working in the modeling industy?
No, I'm only 15 so I think that wont be possible.
I however am doing my exams for high school this year, And when
I'm done with that I will go to a school in Groningen that will start a
Game Design Course next year.

Wow Awesome! How can I get into modeling?
Wel, At first you will need a modeling program.
I use Autodesk's 3ds Max Studios 8 for most of my modeling.
There are some other programs where you can model with but the layout of
al the programs are pretty much the same.

How long does it take to create these models?
Every "3d artist" has its own way of modeling.
This means that nothing can actualy have an exact time line.
I for example did work on the Fishing hut (see previous models) in about
2 weeks. But it is still far from finished.

Current Project : Blitzpacker Gun (single barrel version)

Current Project : Snoozer (Page 215 Oddworld Art Book)(Guessed by Cullen)

Is it a greeter (Like I said in your other thread)? If not how big is the thing?
Also what are you gonna do with the gun when you're done?

Hmm, maybe the main part of a Snoozer...? Or, is it one of the devices that Sligs use?

Tim, I am taking Maya classes for five weekend days! My friend called me and was all 'Hey, you wanna take some Maya classes!?' So now I will be doing that. Hopefully I will learn tons.
Have an awesome time in Paris.

EDIT:
I just got back from seven hours of those classes today... wow. I learned so much in that time, and I have 28 more hours to go.
