abe´s hair are feathers?

I heard about that the hair of Mudakon´s is no hair it´s made fromfeathers or it´s feathers. is this true? I don´t think so because abe´s hair looks like normal hair (ok it´s a bit odd)

i don't think that Abe's hair feathers are, because on the first movie in Exoddus i can see a skeleton of a Mudokon, and on his skull i can see many bones (or cartilages... whatever),
where normally the hairs are....

who said, that the hair are feathers?

Hmm, I never really thought of it as "hair". To me it just seemed like a flap of skin or something that came out of the back of their heads.

I think it's a pretty much acknowledged fact now that the ponytail is feathers, probably little pin-like feathers like an emu has. After all, mudokons evolved from birds...

Feh, I don't do explanations very well, do I?
