Lorne and Sherry operate in Berkely, not Emeryville. And how many people are you thinking would be dragged up there? There aren’t many left, you know.
Berkeley is the next suburb over from Emeryville. The early reports of their move listed both as destinations.

There still would be a few people around and I know I'd be pissed off if I had to move away from Berkeley, especially just two years after being forced to move away from SLO, both of which are rather pleasant towns.

Ugh, the "humor" was the worst part for me. I mean the stupid cheap stuff like Abe banging his head off things and silly noises being made.
c'mon man, you gotta have really cheap pointless jokes. Lighten up.

I guess it would be funny in the end. Though, it's rather hard to maintain a view of both the serious message Oddworld is trying to send while they try and jampack little bits of humor throughout the game.

Hmm, as if that made sense. XD

Well I think the humor in AO, AE and even SW were nice, the only problem I got was with MO

Dark humor... in Stranger's Wrath? That's news to me.

hm.. MY most hilarious moment playing SW was when Raider says "You think you can be like us? You think you cab be NORMAL?!?!" and of course running and hitting all the walls....

What does that have to do with Oddworld Inhabitants making a film?

It was humor, not dark humor

but I have to admit I prefer the dark humor. And I think CS will be full of it

I'm going with Oddsville on this one. At least Lorne didn't come by with a fish and spanked us all, while laughing. With a sign saying, "Burn down OWI!!" Ooo, that free time of mine getting ideas now.
LOL

Seriously toxicity, it's considered bad form to reply to a post from six pages ago as the conversation has moved on from that point. The only exception would be if a comment from way back could add to what we're discussing now.

Honestly, i think Lorne Lanning is a really clever and modern man. He is not lead by money premirely but by quality. He planns forwards with great care, as i understand from many of his interviews. I trust Lanning somehow and think he made the right choice. I wish hed be my father pff just kidding.

Of course, id be much happier if i saw an Abe movie, and i think u guys too, but lets not forget that this movie is not only made for us OW fans. It is intended to catch a larger audience.

If an Abe movie would simply boom in to the cinemas like Finding Nemo, Toy Story or Shrek did the world would soon forget about it because it is so hard to simply accept such new concepts as suited creatures walking on their hands or sadistic tentacle mouthed monsters with robotic legs at once. Dont forget that the majoprity of people out there have not heard about OW ever. I myself, personally didnt fall in love with OW in two seconds. It took me some months i think. With a little dressing an OW movie has much greater chances to survive longer.

Im looking forward to Citizen Siege but id say more precisely, im looking forwards to the OW movies through Citizen Siege.

No offense, but you really should read what's already been posted before asking. It isn't all that much to read.

Ya, and thats really dissapointing to me, because one of my favorite things about the OWI games they made was the inventive creatures.
