The main enemies in Squeek's Oddysee aren't 'probably Chroniclers'. They could be, but there's no probability involved - we can't make a logical gues until we know more, and Munch has got plenty to tell us before we meet Squeek.
Abe's 'quest' is far from over. Sure, he wants to rescue every single of his brethren Mudokons to the freedom of native culture, and he also wants to set free his mom Sam. But Abe's ultimate goal is much more important than them, really. He needs to restore Mudos to a natural state of balance, create peace between the Industrials, the Natives and the Land, and put an end to consumerism. That's a pretty tough chore, and it'll take the entire Quintology for Abe to reach the big city.
As for Munch, well, we really don't know what his Big Thing is. He's very anti-animal-cruelty, and there's a lot of cruelty in the world that can be reflected on Oddworld. He's also got the entire Gabbit population to look after, which will take a while. Oh, and don't forget the mysterious Gabbit Queen, either.
So, there's plenty for Abe and Munch to do while Squeek and Nod play out their roles. What's really interesting to discuss is what Squeek and Nod are going to do that benefits the Oddworld.
