Video problems

I just got abe's exoddus to work in XP last nite, and i have been playing and having fun, i just got up to feedco dept, when that video played of abe getting on the hand wagon, it then moves to the 3 glukkons, have a discussion, for some reason my video seems to screw up and just go straight to the start of feedco dept. After looking around, i think my movie for feedco dept is corrupted. Would anyone be able to send me a copy of that movie file from disc2 thru msn or something?

Darn, I have the exact same problem. After trying to play this movie, AE can't play any clips until you restart the game (you can hear the sound of the movie, though). Do you have this too? unfortunately, I can't help you with it, sorry

Nope. Took 6 different searches and found nothing useable. Personally I think the file's corrupted or something, but the CD hasn't been scrated or anything, and I've reinstalled it twice... And yes, this seems to be a Slurg Paradise (though a Gluk's help wouldn't be unwelcome...).

I have Abe's Exoddus on XP and I have no troubles whatsoever, so I don't know what the problem is. I suppose I could send that one file to try, but I don't really want to use MSN to do it...
Normally I wouldn't want to send a file contained on the CD anywhere, but since you already own the game, and if you didn't you couldn't do anything with this particular file

That's great! I believe it's FEECO.DDV in the \MOVIES directory of the CD. My email adress is blahdiblah22 at hotmail dot com. Thanks!

Whoops, sorry, I completely forgot about this thread.

I can't send it right now, but I'll send it as soon as possible. If the file doesn't work, there must be something wrong with the executable, and in that case you'll just have to put with it, I'm afraid.

Er... no, I was going to send it via email, but I suppose your email provider doesn't support very large files? I don't use hotmail, so I wouldn't know...

I had this problem in the demo version not even the oddworld bit would work right

yeah, that's right, I have that too, it looks incredibly blurred. But I don't have the demo, I own the full version, and I don't consider the OW credits to be terribly important, the FEECO.DDV problem is more urgent to me.

well, most forums say that before posting about a problem,someone has to search the forum first for other references to the same problem. so i think he did do the right thing.

thanks for help.... I downloaded file and it works OK... i have another problem with game (possessing glukkon in feeco executive office), but I'd better search google before I post something here :P (@Spirrow I think, that better is to renew topic, than starting new one :P)
