Paranoid Agent

I usually despise anime, but watching this on Adult Swim 3:00 in the morning, I just got hooked instantly.

Has anyone else seen this show?

I think Used has. He keeps trying to make me watch it. And I keep telling him to fuck all anime in the ass.

It's Paranoia Agent. And yes, it's probably one of the only good animes to come along in a while, IMO. I think it's also one of the only animes that can be liked by non anime fans, due to the absence of common stereotypes found in most anime and for it's puzzling story line. I enjoy it indeed,

A friend once made me watch Ghost in the Shell. Now, there's a little bit of my life I'll never get back. Which has no real connection to the topic, but it IS anime.

That really cheap!!! Old anime style artists...bleh

Go for things like Ninja Scroll...that similar to Paranoia Agent. Fighting with monsters and things like that.

Ghost in the Shell...it is more surreal and its complicated to understand sometimes. Yet again there are the new ones like Appleseed. But that just the reliving the robots era. Gundam and Neon Evangelion.

To my knowledge once..plus Ninja Scroll is all time favourite. Especially the TV series. Really twisted!

That's all good and grand if it's your favorite anime, I am just saying that it sounds like it lacks a little originality. Animes like Inuyasha and others have been playing the monster-battle card for years. It seems a little silly for anyone to try this at this point in the industry.

Man, screw that. I'm hooked on Korgoth of Barbaria and the Venture Brothers, Harvey Birdman, AND ATHF are coming back with new episodes within the next month. There is too much on my Adult Swim plate to watch anime. When they air the anime garbage I watch sports, read, or go to bed.

I managed to catch a few episodes, although I haven't seen the entire series.

The last episode was awesome, though.

Sheesh, nobody likes anime around these parts for some reason... they always say "Agh, its so kiddie, its just another cartoon" etc, etc. THAT is not cool. I have seen some animes that put "violent" real-actor movies in the play pen. And the storylines, underlying themes, and all that good stuff? Amazing! It's not that hard to find a great anime. But finding and unflawed human actor movie is like punching a baby! You just can't bring yourself to do it! Haha, now I'm just rambling... Anyway, Paranoia Agent is VERY good, I do tend to miss it alot though, and when I actually get to watch it, I have no idea whats going on (as if I would understand it even if I HADN'T missed any episodes.) It's so mind boggling, and makes my brain hurt, yet causes many long night conversations and arguments with my friends. Anyway, anybody know how many episodes are in the whole series? Or are they still making it?

Just so all of you guys know, the series just started again. If you haven't tuned in yet, you should now. It's easier to understand at the end if you've watched mots of the series. Just popping in to say that.
