I have to start ALL OVER AGAIN!

Crazy , crazy lady! Oh well , at least i get to do all those wicked levels again ( like the scary as hell ravenholm! )

How do I check to see if something is blocking steam?

If you have a firewall, check to see if it has Steam on the allow list and not on the Block list. Depending on the firewall you have, it should usualy be under a tab called 'Programs' in the options menu of your firewall.

Thank you for your help. You're going to think I'm an idiot but I don't know if I have a firewall. If I do where would I find it?

EDIT: I checked my network connection and it says Enabled, Firewalled. I assume this means that i do have a firewall but I can't find it. I would really like to be able to play this goddamn game. Anyone have any ideas?

Dude. You do not know the meaning of scary when playing Ravenhom. Have you played it with all the lights off in the house, at midnight, with full graphics, and the speakers cranked on full? AND on hard mode?

I stopped playing at the area where you get the shotgun from Father Grigori. Those fast headcrabs are to damn scary. I play it all the time though. Ravenhom is the funnest level, next to the level where you get the Gravity Gun Redux. Then you are a walking tank of death. Much like Havoc when I showed him the New Years party picture. I'll never look at a pair of panties the same way again.

EDIT: I found my firewall. I do have one but it is not in use. So I can rule that out. What kind of bullshit is this anyways where I have to connect to somme goddamn website to play a videogame?

It's Valve's way of anti game copying. And it's pretty darn effective, to a degree. Anyway, try re-installing the game and steam all together. Manualy remove any folders that remain behind. Then do a fresh install. See if that helps. I think that if a .dll file is missing, something might have gone wrong in the instalation.

Mitsur: Ravenholm is by far, the scariest video game enviorment I have ever been in. The first time I made my way trough it, it was in the middle of the night, barely any lights on, with headphones in and on normal hardness. I just stopped playing when I got the shotgun and got to savety. Then picked it up again the night after. The amount of adrinaline rushes you get in that place is amazing. They did an absolute wonderfull job at it.

UPDATE: Episode 1 has been released today. Obviously they had a little setback with the initial date of April 24, but now it's finaly here!

Now, if you'll excuse me, I have to run to the store to go and get it.

EDIT: Can you believe this? I come home, want to play it, then Steam gives me the message:
Due to the aimed World Wide release, the game can not be unlocked untill 10 o clock.

Which meant I had to wait 5 damn hours! It's unlocked now though, and busy installing
