I have to agree w/ Dakkan here. Sure everyone says they hate Bill Gates and he's been accused of all manner of things including being the anti-Christ. But he did start out with nothing... he wasn't born rich or anything like that. Some people may not agree with the methods he used to "obtain" Windows, etc. But he had the business smarts to get to where he is today.

As much as everyone complains about Windows and complains about Microsoft (I have been guilty of doing this numerous times)... there have definately been positives w/ Microsoft.

Anyone who only thinks of Bill Gates as being evil should look at the movie "The Pirates of Silicon Valley" which gives an insight on Bill Gates and the founder of Apple Computers.

And as Lorne Lanning said himself once when asked about Oddworld becoming an exclusive with a "large" company like Microsoft... although Microsoft may be running waves through the business world, at least they aren't doing anything to the enviromnent or to the animals, like some other large companies are guilty of.

Freaky, I don't see how an OWI alliance with Microsoft makes the game any worse just because you think Bill Gates is evil. It's not like you're going to be playing Munch's Oddysee and suddenly say
"Wait a minute! The company who made this game made it on a console manufactured by Microsoft! This game must suck! I will not play it!"
It's obvious the console itself is the best available. So it will make the game run better, not "evil".

And I noticed you seem to think Microsoft are evil just because they're a "big company", I don't think you explained your reasons for hating them very well.

I'm as anti-corporate as the next guy, but when Microsoft's making the best console, and it's not maliciously overpriced (Bill's losing money on this, guys), and there's games of the quality of MO as well as Malice, Halo, Black & White, and Tony Hawk, I say buy it! Maybe this will encourage Microsoft to make reliable, crash-proof, quality stuff, and then we won't have to feel guilty about buying their stuff.
