Even if it was steroids, which I doubt it is, it is Oddworld it doesn't have to make much sense.

Of course, there's no evidence to suggest Roid was the (plotwise) result of steroid like drugs. None at all.

Though they're technically described as 'adrenal steroids'.

It's also interesting how at Abe transformed into the Shrykull, Munch would have transformed into Roid, and how Stranger, strictly in terms of gameplay, transformed into the steef.

Yeah, that is a thing I like about Oddworld even though it is odd it can still be explainable. I plan on getting that art book, I really want it. I am trying to get it from Ebay, because the Ballistic website sells the hardback covers for about $40. Oh, and to the person who said critics would complain about Roid resembleing the Hulk, I believe MO was around before the Hulk.

It's almost tempting not to post here, just to see the reactions of less polite people.

But instead, I'll point out that The Hulk was not, in fact, invented for the movie and has been around since 1962 in comic form.
