Personally I love Listening to "When Worlds Collide" by Powerman 500 and "Crushed Like Fruit" by InMe When Playing FP'S (Halo 2 usually)

Cradle of Filth songs are great when encountering Hellknights and co. in Doom 1 & 2. It fits to the Doom environment.
I guess Doom games have music, but they require a sound card, which I'm lack of.

That's all, other (new) games have music by general, I listen to those.

I Usually just stick in any game on any consle and then put on some Country. That's my style.

Meh, I like listening to the game music because it waqs meant for that one level and so I want to get the feelign of it. Like the dream like music you hear in Mag Mell from FFCC (sweetest game ever) or like the sick foul music you find on the dreary crow island from Beyond Atlantis (even sweeter game!).

"Metallica-Reload" during Fuzion Frenzy
"El Mariachi De Mi Tierra" during Resident Evil 4
and, "Slipknot (any album)" during Stranger's Wrath.

The soundtrack that I have for the game, Descent, can be listened to for ANY video game... from MARIO to ODDWORLD... Oh and what's fun is when I try to match my crash bandicoot soundtrack with an oddworld game. But Oddworld is hard to dub other music in because there's no SFX/BGM volume seperation which is annoying. I hate muting the whole thing for BGM. Gotta hear the SFX too!
