Fine. This isn't a spam thread. When I said it was I was misunderstanding the meaning of spam. It is now the Odds and Ends thread. Here you talk about things that aren't important enough to start a whole thread about it. Talk about something significant that happened, your day, stuff you have, or something like that. As long as it's a sentient thought. No stupid crap. Happy?

If you guys are just wanting some sort of idle chat thread, then I don't see much of a problem with it. I mean, whenever a topic evolves into a different subject, someone always complains. I think constantly evolving topic would be neat.

However, if it gets out of hand or if you guys simply don't talk about anything, I'll have to close it.

Okay, so the other day in my first class, Calculus, I was sitting there doing some work. Then the thought of work in other classes came to my mind, and I asked myself what I did in Contemporary Issues class (second period) that day. I couldn't remember even going to the class that day and freaked out. Then I realized I was still only in first period and I hadn't gone to any of my other classes yet. So bizarre. My heart actually jumped when I thought I had missed a class somehow.

Has that ever happened to anyone else?

Yeah, it's weird. Especially when my time-table changes. Last year I had Maths fourth period, and then French... Now it's the other way around. And continuously at the beginning of the year I kept having a heart attack that I'd missed a lesson or I'd missed my bus home. Ect.

So... I have two gay pirates living in my purse. No, seriously. Two tiny ass-pirates that I bought in a dollar store this weekend. Pulling out strange things from my purse a great way to break the ice in conversations. But sometimes it creates some awkward silence. I thoroughly creeped out a "preppy" guy when I told him my pirates made out. Their lips are very rosey colored, and he commented that they were wearing lipstick when I said they were gay. I guess I went too far when I went into detail that the fancy pirate was the only wearing lipstick, but he made out with the other and some rubbed off. Wheee, free flowing thoughts before sleep.

Anywhoo, I landed on my head the other day. It hurt a fair bit, which is quite understandable. I was running along, then slipped and somehow toppled forwards, landing on the front of my head and bouncing over onto my back. Painful. That's something that I hate, pain that isn't expected. And people who say one instead of I all the time. I'm rambling again, off to continue my story. *Wanders*

I live in the Rockies, and as you can imagine, it gets enormously cold in the winter. Right now it's -15F, and I decided to get some sleeping bags out of the trunk of the car. I live in an apartment, so It's a little longer than your average walk to the car. Being the idiot I am, I brought neither a coat nor gloves, as I would soon regret. Halfway to the car the snot in my nose started to freeze. By the time I got to the car my hands were numb. I opened the trunk, got the very cold sleeping bags (which made my hands more numb), and walked back to he house. On the way back I dropped the car key in the snow. While searching for it I slipped on some ice and hit my head on the sidewalk. (I'm pertty clumsy) Now not only did I have a frozen nose and fingers, but my entire body was very, very cold, I had a throbbing head, and I still had to find the car key. I dug in the snow (which made my fingers colder still, but I hardly noticed due to the fact that I couldn't feel them anymore) and eventually found the key. I got back home (obviously) and I'm afraid to take my left hand out of my pocket because I may need to cut it off. Long story short- stay inside when it's -15F outside.
