Yes i saw that in pictures but i never got to see one in the actual game.

Maybe they had one in the original version of AO or maybe it wasn't in the PAL versions of the game, maybe it was only in the NTSC version

After much post-fishing, I found the old topic we discussed it in a while back...

Elum Transporter/Trap/Thing

Dunno if that helps...

You know I think an Elum teleporter is for when Elum gets killed and you lost him maybe it was suposed to be some kind of Elum resurrection device. Who knows. Also I think that it was used before they created a bell to call Elum. But they scratched it out to create the bell. That sounds possible.

As far as most people here can tell, it is actually an elum trap, not an elum transporter. That's why I posted the link, duh...

*sighs and mutters "Where's Max when you need him?"*

Since looking in that topic seems unfashionable, it is left to me to clear things up...

The Elum Trap was something that was concieved for AO, but did not make it into the game. It was designed to hold Elum still and stop Abe from riding him. It was eventually abandoned in favour of HONEY [not Bells]. Okay?

That is a Max explanation, which is about as official as it gets here unless Alf comes and tells us himself...

Wow, I'm almost considered official. That makes my day, especially after that crueling charity carol band. Not that it was bad, I'm just not brilliant at sight-reading. Ur, back to the digital world... Ahh, that's better.

Yeah, that's what the Elum Trap is, just a Magog Cartel device to capture Elums to use in Elum Chops (you can see an advert in RuptureFarms). Mudokon gatherers are sent out to retrieve the trapped Elum. RuptureFarms also deploys UXBs and land mines to blow the Elums to smithereens, and market them as having 'extra dirt'.

and how to deliver the elum?
Blow the trap up with a red spirit ring ?
Or with a stone ?
There is no much more in Scrabania!

That, my friend, is your problem... The Elum Trap was just an early idea, so I don't think anybody knows...
