God knows. Just one of the more annoying things with Munch's Oddysee.

Hrm ....
Well, let's look at it this way.
Gamespeak made a bit of a jump from AO/AE to MO.
Abe's entire lexicon for AO was "Hello, follow me, wait, work."
In MO he began speaking in short phrases, like "Hey, what's happenin, Can you help me out here, I'll be back, dontcha worry," etc.
So ... perhaps the Paramites and Scrabs are speaking longer phrases than "Howdy, Stay, Do it," and such.
Does that make sense?

Except that you can't get the paramites and scrabs to communicate to each other in MO. I mean they do screech but they won't follow any instructions like in AE.

Right. Anything Abe possesses in MO can't give orders or communicate. Not the sligs or slogs or glukkons or vykkers or interns. There were some places that would have been far too easy to pass if Abe could make minions follow eachother around and work. So it was changed.
