They're already thinking of makin' a Stranger's Wrath movie, and I did see movie posters on the internet of Abe's Oddysee/Exxodus.

I saw a link to a trailer on a thread, but I dunno which one. But you have to sign up on the wep page just to see it. I did it 'cause I was desirate to see's it. But the trailer's like the intro of the Stranger's Wrath game, and it has no sound to it. But the ending of it is different, but not by much.

*disappointed* Oh, a Stranger's Wrath movie? Hmm, I wasn't that keen on SW as it was a shoot-em-up, which I don't think suits Oddworld. An Abe movie shold be the first movie, after all, he started the game series, so he should get to feature in the first movie. Well, if it has to be an SW movie, so be it. It's much better than nothing.

Well, we're seein' a movie that is one of our most favorite game. (Maybe) I do say that the Abe series should be first, but they sent out movie posters like, years ago fer Abe's Oddysee, and it never came out. Maybe the same thing'll happen to Stranger's Wrath. Who knows?

I personaly think the Abe story line just has more story in it. Also becouse its a side of Oddworld that has been more explored then the Stranger one. In AO, we had Muds, sligs, Gluks, Scrabs and Paramites (and a bunch of useless other species). In exoddus and MO they expanded those greatly and gave a wild twist of history to the entire thing. Dozens of new characters, important new locations such as Necrum and its tribes. More depth in the industrial side of things where in AO it was mostly about the native side.
Oddworld just didn't have the chance to do that with Stranger just yet. The Stranger universe has barely been dug out. No real history, no real story line I would dare making a movie around. Ofcourse... I am saying this all with the games in mind. And if they make a movie, it will not keep any of the games in mind. By which I mean, they are not going to skip the Oddysee and Exoddus story's just becouse they already featured in the games. They are going to make a remake out of it, so pretty much anything can happen or be added which will be kind of strange at first. They might add things to the story which wern't originaly there.

In any case I think their better off with a movie about Abe and co, but keep the games focused on Stranger. Stranger has game potential, no movie potential. Abe has both .

Max the Mug was on MSN. I asked him about the Stranger's Wrath movie, because I'm still sceptical.

Besides, there's no way I would have missed an Oddworld movie trailor.

I also highly doubt that the opening of the movie would be almost exactly like the game.

Also, production's just begun. We most likely won't see anything for the movie for another year-and-a-half.

What you most likely saw was the fuzzle-less version of the opening movie (they added the scene where Stranger first lays the Fuzzle trap in the final version. The online version doesn't have it.

I say they should make the movie about abe, I wasn't a big fan or the SW it was fun just like the other oddworld game I'm just a fan of the old AO and AE games. So I would enjoy the movie more.
