Abe's Exoddus and XP?

Hi people,
Does anybody know how to start that game on Windows XP?
The game starts loading and then nothing happens. The desktop is like I hadn't started the game. Not even a flicker...
Anybody out there who knows what to do?

I don't think you can run Abe's Exoddus on XP. Someone correct me if i'm wrong.

I hope you're not right...
by the way, I forgot something. As I tried it first, a message like "Sorry, you can't run this game on NT" appeared. Then i tried to start it in compatibility modes for win 95/98. That was when nothing happened, even the task-manager didn't show a running process...
Guess that means I'm going to be abeless for some time...
But thanks, anyway!

Â*Â*Â*Â*Â*I don't know why it says it can't run on NT? I have Windows XP Professional, which is essentially Windows NT 5.5. Abe's Oddysee and Exoddus run just fine. Perhaps you can post a screen capture using "Print Screen or Prt Sc" to capture?

&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbspAs for the other problem, I have encountered the same thing under Windows 95/98 when DirectX was either not installed, or it wasn't a late enough version. Perhaps a DirectX issue?
