Rescued Mudokon count outside factory?

I finally succeeded in taking down Rupture Farms (thanks to forum members that helped me with some tough parts), but I'm afraid there were a few . . . er, several Mukdokon casualties on the way. But now I'm going back in to get them all. Is there a way to get a rescued Mudokon count in places where there aren't any count boards that they have in the factory?

Thanks.

Hello, Doug, how are ya doing?

Sorry, folk, there is no way to see mudokon countes except for the counter boards. In Abe'Exoddus there is an option in the MENU of the game, called STATUS, where you can see the number of saved mudokons, and the number of dead ones. But Abe's Oddysee unfortunately doesn't have that feature.

You'll heave to keep track of your green buddies by yourself.

Good luck on your jorney, and remember, there is prize waiting for you in the Monsaic Lines...

Man, I am way frustrated -- I just got back to Zulag 1 only to find that I am short 2 Mudokons. I kept pretty good track via the walkthrough that I was getting everybody, but I missed something. I'm not sure I can get up to go back again -- some of these levels are ridiculously difficult. And having to do parts that you've mastered over and over to get to the problematic parts sucks. I gather they fixed this in Exoddus, but this game gives new meaning to the term "love/hate" relationship.

Yeah, I know, I felt the same twisted emotions when I first played Abe's Oddysee, but today I love that game. I gave my AO CD to a friend for a couple of weeks, and after that, he couldn't go through zulag 1 of Rupture Farms. He gave me back the CD with a frustrated look on his face: "this game is damn hard, I give up..."

Fortunately, they fixed many details in Abe's Exoddus. the quicksave feature was great.

keep playing, don't bother if you missed a couple of muds, you will still get the good ending(not the final reward for bing a perfect one, though)

Hey, Lampion. I sucked it up and went back in. There were a few tough parts that were annoying as heck as I had to do them over and over, but a lot of levels were really fresh in my head and I zipped right through them. I just got back to the factory and I seem to have all the muds so far. The only weird thing is that the tote board is showing -3 (negative 3) casualties. Do you know what that is about? I first noticed at the beginning of Stockyard Escape that I had 28 escapees and -1 casualties. Now I've got -3 casualties.

It's a bug that happens sometimes. Some members of this forum reported it a few times. It never happend to me, and I don't know if it will make any difference by the end of the game.
I guess you should keep going to find it out. Then you tell us what happened.
