Things you LOVED about Stranger

Well, we all know the things that annoyed you about Stranger, now it's time to give the little steef his lovin'. What did you LOVE about Stranger?

When I first played the game, I was amazed at how fluidly he controlled and how he had a definite and solid mass about him. I really felt the heaviness of the Stranger, and the nimbleness as well. I can't say that there is any other character I've ever had the pleasue of controlling, even Conker or Banjo (Rare games). I mean, controlling his gallop and just jumping and gaining speed and then that ultimately satisfying BAM as you hit the ground was just excellent.

So then, what did you guys LOVE about Stranger?

I loved the encouragement of stealthy, slow an intelligent gameplay. I loved the puzzling nature of how to defeat enemies. I love the grubbs, the boat and it's control/maneuverability. I love the cut scenes, even the real-time ones which were well directed. I love the story. I loved running fast.

I loved almost everything about stranger

I loved how he had live ammo, and how you're a bounty hunter.

I loved the intro movie, Plot twist, the huge enviroments and palying like a journey, the stealth and puzzle involed, the story, easter eggs, playing as a steef, the epic second half, like the whole games as your palying like through a movie, stranger, grubbs, wolvaks, the animated menu, doc, the suprises that pop up. Yes, it's a good game.

EDIT: And how could I forgot, those awsome kick ass robotic Glokitigs. It was so awsome seesing them turing into these ghosts. It was like the twins from The Matrix Reload. Just thrilling.

I loved Stranger's cat-like run that enables you to escape deadly situations, I loved the unbelievable amount of voice-work (especially the Clakkerz and Outlaws talking to each other), I loved the landscape that really made me feel like I was in a living environment, and I loved how the live ammo sat on the crossbow and stared at you. I also loved the fact that Oddworld took a dramatic departure from their established characters, which worried the hell out of me, and managed to pull the game off beautifully. This was the most surprisingly wonderful game of my lifetime, and I always have massive expectations for Oddworld games.

What did I love? Well, to start with, I salute whoever on the Oddworld staff came up with the idea of shaking off damage. You are a freakin' genius! I just thought you should know that. Live ammo was awesome, as it made the game much more strategic. Each, "bullet," functions differently and serves a different purpose, unlike most shooters. The load time was nothing, and the locals were wonderful, sometimes beautiful. I really felt at home in the interior of the Wolvark Docks (Reminded me of the Quintology).

And of course, who can help but to stare in awe at the begining of Last Legs, as the zeplins soar over the once mighty city as chaos reigns in the streets. Brilliant.

i loved nearly everything about strangers wrath. how he looks, his cat like run, the CG movies, the action, the puzzles, the game speak, the story, the voices and alot of other things.
the game was so original, but it was a minor dissapointment about the real-time movies. also, i love the way you can play it over and over again, and you can get hooked on just little things about the game. i know i might be a little bit different, but, i got hooked on just waching the *spoiler* steef version of stranger *spoiler* jump up and down like a kangeroo and jump into battle. just waching him going boing, boing everywhere was hilarous!
i also like the fact that there is an option to level select, so you can go to any region of the game, you want.
this game realy appealed to me. it would take me too long to name the rest of the things i liked about the game. (continues talking about the game for hours)

I watched a video about stranger once and it said there was no health pack in the game so I thought it was going to be super soild but then it said about the fact that can shake it off I loved the sound it made when he shook it sounded like dog
