That's so damn funny. ''My teddy is possessed, it kills all my other teddies'' , why not just dump the thing in a bog if you don't want it, rather than selling it.

That's crazy. Anybody will sell anything on Ebay even if it's a 'possessed teddy bear' and people will still buy it! If you put a good story behind something you can sell it to anyone.

Entertaining, nonetheless.

That's stupid...why doesn't she just chuck it in an incinerator or something? They have those at landfills, and she said that she went to one.

I'm going to do this now...I'm going to sell something totally rediculous like this and see if I make this much money. I bet she's doing this on the advice of one of those "get rich quick on ebay" schemes.

It reminds of when some family sold the 'boogeyman' in a cigar box on Ebay. And a mother sold her sons grandfathers ghost on Ebay and got thousands for it.

Insane, this has to be a hoax.
Edit: Speaking of ebay, isn't is as annoying as FUKK when someone outbids you like half an hour before the auction closes?

That's nothing. My first time buying something someone outbid me in the last 10 seconds! Those ebay regulars know what they're doing.

That wouldn't have been a huge Stranger's Wrath poster, would it? Cause that's how I won it. I waited until there was 10 seconds left and bid high.

Bwaha! That guy is an evil genius. Sheesh, all those updates... He was really determined to make his story sound credible.

I agree with Majic though; the highest bid has to be a joke. By the way, does anyone know what happens to those who bid jokingly?

If that person doesn't go through with the amount they bid (and they win). If someone reports them they can get their eBay account suspended.

Man, this is where the money is at. I gotta try this:

I have a, uh, haunted... cd player? Uh yeah, I ran it over with my car and it came back...
Bidding starts at $100.

The bozo who won this big sale bid like 30 times and had no feedback, untill the
guy who had the auction left this,

"Informed me bid was a scam- spells & acts like a 12 year old with no friends
Seller garbageguy2 ( 66Feedback ) 27-Mar-05 14:01 5566217149 "

Odd how a guy that puts up an auction like that, seems offended when he gets a B.S. bid.

edit: OH, by the way, what make is that CD player???

I feel I need to address the fact that I have been getting a number of questions about the actual Stitch toy, and people wanting to know if they will receive a refund if the toy ends up not being haunted. Please remember: You are bidding on a regular Stitch stuffed animal, that may or may not be haunted when it arrives at your residence.
What does that sound like to you. I'd say scam, but a very smart one.

I haven't used ebay for ages, although I'm thinking of selling a bunch of stuff soon. I'm usually one of those last minute bidders. Although FF fans are tough to bid against as doing that, they still end up beating you. Like they bid with like 1 second to go. Either that or they have those programs which bid for you, which I think shouldn't be allowed.

It amazes me how many people actually fall for these kinds of scams and actually try to spend all that money on pointless crap. Of course the people who sell the stuff are laughing as people fell in and they are getting a bunch of money in some of the cases. But I just think it's crazy that people are willing to spend all this money. Like in Australia there was a guy who sold a piece of breakfast cereal that looked like ET for like $1000.

Abe Babe...

The Totally Bizarre catagory on ebay always has this shit. To sum it up, you've got:

unsearched Brazilian emeralds
possessed toys
weight loss pills
dick enhancing pills
mystery boxes "try your luck" empty box scams

And then you have the very worst of them all; the sob story "I am a single mother of 5 living in a small flat who is just selling things to raise enough money to buy a house of our own and pay for our dying daughters medication..." scam where you pay 500 bucks for some mundane item like a toy car or football card.

Yeah, right. Barely enough money to feed the family but conveniently enough left over to pay for the internet connection? Surely moving from a small flat to a big house would get you into even MORE debt since a bigger house costs more to run. The scam has so many holes in it that I could go on forever about how little sense it makes.
