I need a javaapplet. I try to download one for my FireFox-browser but it doesn't woork: it doesn't work for my internet explorer either. Any suggestion?

That's weird. FireFox comes automatically with it. Perhaps you have it disabled by default, so check your FireFox Options. It is in there somewhere, but being on an IE-only machine at the moment limits me to my rather bad memory

Secondly, it could be that you are behind a firewall which blocks ports 6667, 7000 or the range 6665-6670.

oy!! I fanally made it work ^_^!!

Although, there is a link that doesn't work. Justn thought that you wanted to know that. It's the one that is leading the OWF. Yup, right here.
It uses this URL: http://www.oddworldforums.net/forums Which obviously wont work.

The URL to the forums should work now, I just fixed it.

That was the old address of the forums. We used to have a re-direct on it, but I guess since we moved hosts, the re-direct never got put back in place.

That chat applet just seems to be buggy IMO. I remember when I was at OWI and me, Alf and Alf's Assistant were all on Oddchat through the same internet connection. But on my laptop, the chat room just stopped working without warning all the time, not giving me any more new messages. I had to reconnect all the time.

I wonder if trying another "free" chat room service would be any better.
