Hi guys,
I was just looking at my status and I was thinking-doesn't gabbiwog sounds like golliwog? Is it supposed to symbolise that or sound like that? I swear that the golliwog was a racist depiction (more of a mockery) of black people that was banned from Robertson's Jam. Does it have anything to do with that or am I just a crazy freak who's ranting about rubbish?
A Gabbit is a frog- like creature with one leg, so pollywog, a baby frog, would be an appropriate comparison. The main character in the last Oddworld game, Munch's Oddysee, was a Gabbit.
