De ‘zoek en vind’- insteek van het spel wordt nu gebruikt als thema voor de marketingcampagne.
Op maandag 28 februari zal Electronic Arts een tip rondsturen over de mogelijke locatie van de slechterik.
En elke dag krijg je er een nieuwe tip bij, tot de onthulling op vrijdag 4 maart tussen 16:00 en 18:00.
Dan moet iedereen die zich actief met het zoeken bezig houdt alle tips combineren om zo tot de schuilplaats van de schurk te komen die zich ergens in Nederland bevindt.
Wie als eerste op de betreffende locatie is krijgt een bedrag van €1000 mee naar huis!
De daaropvolgende tien moeten genoegen nemen met het spel Oddworld: Stranger’s Wrath wat ook zeker niet mis is.

EA has a huge marketing idea for Oddworld Stranger's Wrath in Holland. According to Xboxworld.nl, EA is going to organize a nation-wide ‘Hide and Seek’ opperation called the “Oddworld Bounty Hunt”. The opperation is going to start the 28 February, Xboxworld.nl will then release a Tip a day. Then the 4 Mars, between 16h and 18h, you'll have to go to the place (with the help of the tips) where you think the ‘bad guy’ is hiding to bounty him! The winner will win 1000€! The 10 next ones will win the game Oddworld Stranger's Wrath!

For the one's who don't live in Holland: When you are going to the tips page, the following text comes up (translated from dutch to English by me):
To participaty on the bountyhunt, you have to print the tips page as evidence for paticipation as a bountyhunter (and now there is a wrong dutch sentence , but I think it says this: ) and take it with you to the place where the tips are leading to.
Participators who don't have a print, will be excluded!!!.

So that means, if I am reading it right: YOU HAVE TO GO TO THE PLACE WITH YOUR PRINTS. So for people in US or so, sorry, but I don't think you want to travel to holland, do you?. But you can still help us out .
