Finally! I've been waiting for IGN to do their usual Strategy Guide on the game

Too bad it is only IGN Insider, though it is making me think twice about not joining Insider, or GameSpot Complete.

From what you saw of the guide while it was available to anyone, was it good? In depth? Lots of graphics, including maps?

It had some good stratagies for capturing some bosses alive, but it mainly talked about the zapfly, thudslug approach. They took screenshots to help guide you through, but I do not believe there were maps (keep in mind, I did not see every page). It looked like it was straight to the point, but gave enough information to get the job done. Good.

I told you, I refused to look at it myself.

But I did find the scores in the end.

Is Sinjin still about? His guides are always the best online ones there are.

There are a few places so far (just finished with the boat, about 1/3rd of the way in) and I'd say there is not as much 'strategy' to it as I would have thought. The built in 'spoilers' help a bit but it is not like one has the answers on a platter.

There are some general guidelines I have come up with, and some baddies that react differently to different ordnance, but that's the extent of it. (other than the 1st person jump worked where 3rd person did not at the waterfall :-)).

My suggestion: Location, Location, Location.
