To do title bars and headers I would need to see the current design of the magazine. So I could get it to fit in a stuff.

Also, once my Soulstorm Brew vendor is finished. You can put that in the fan fiction section if you like. I should be finished maybe sometime in the next few hours.

Hi !
I just discover this thread, it's a good idea to do an unofficial e-zine, you probably could do this on a website, no ?
However, good work

Hey shadowman, I seem to recall someone asking this before but I can't find it anywhere. But, are you just distributing the magazine to your neighbourhood? Or are you planning to distribute it through your website? Also, you said in another thread that currently people pay into a fundraiser thing and as long as they pay into it, they get the mag for free. Does that mean if you distribute it through your website, people will have to pay for the mag or pay into a fundraiser thing to see it?

Oh I did a when we first started, see at first we charged people but then it was difficult to keep in place a price so we came up with a revolutionary idea. What people do is they give donations to us (which is usually the price they payed for it) to keep producing it for free. But we get a lot of donations still. At first I was sceptical of this idea but it worked anyway.

GREAT SCOTLAND OF THE SKY! I completely forgot about posting this, with me being so hyped up about thre new game and stuff and making copies and going places! DOUBLE SCREW UP! Godlesswanderer, I forgot about your interview too, I am truely at your mercy, those blasted cousins or vermin or whatever they are have pulled me away from my work to, Odd Trusting has been scurrying all over like a rat in daylight to try and finish up our special edition (this month we made to mags the second one went out today). I am locked down with coffee and all kinds of thiongs to keep me on top of the fourms, playing Stranger and making sure the high grade printer isn't stuck again, like it is at the moment. I shall to here for a good long time don't worry about that, as for those vermin human creatures I will have to get the baseball bat again.

You and Fuzzle Guy's interview went on in both the monthly and special editions, Godlesswanderer, is interviewing me. And currently I am running upstairs playing Stranger for about 30 seconds running back down here and staying on the forums for 2 minutes and then spending about 12 seconds harassing the high grade printer on how it is nothing worthy of being called high grade. If you would like I could even, by mail, send you and fuzzle guy editions of the Jan and Special edition magizines, to add to your Oddworld collection, I will even pay for shipping, if interested PM me. Godlesswanderer, I intend on sending you a couple issues so you could get the feel of the mag so you could do some of those pictures if you wanted, also PM please

Oh fuzzle guy I am trying to get a transfurable version of our customized microsoft (our odd type to any unofiicals reading this) document up. I didn't think that since we don't use an offical word prossessor it might be hard to e-mail a raw magizine file as a email attachment but I am working on it and I will tell you when it I got it fixed.

Try using one of these links. They are all free PDF converters. As long as your Odd Type thing saves in conventional text save files (eg. .DOC, .TXT, etc...), or you can at least export them. You could use these.

I'm getting really tired of reading about this magazine in every other post of yours, Shadowman. I think I've been patient enough with you, but the time has now come to get real about things...

First, lets start out with your age. I have no idea how old you are, but I'm guessing you're very young for a number of reasons. Your spelling, grammar, AND punctuation are horrible - this is excusable though, if you're from another country, but your English doesn't look like the English of someone who has learned to speak and write the language - more like that of someone who hasn't paid attention in English class. Also your almost obsessive enthusiasm resembles that of a child, or at least someone with special needs / learning difficulties.

Next, lets look at your overall attitude and how you come across in your posts. The first thing I notice when I read your mediocre drivel, is a heavily laboured attempt at copying the anthropomorphic/stylized/roleplayesque writing style that litters the Oddworld Inhabitants website. In other words, your posts read like a poorly spelled website update or half drunken ask alf article. The stupidity of your lacklustre attempt at boosting yourself up the ranks with official OWF sounding babble, is punctuated by frequent spelling and grammar mistakes.

Now, let us take a look at the predictably awful work with which you spam your unfortunate neighbours. Both the magazine title art and (notepad!) text display an obvious lack of magazine creation know-how. If I was a publisher, I'd recycle the paper on which your totally unentertaining work came to me on.

At this point you (the reader) may say that I am being unreasonably harsh, but I beg of you to consider the following; since the day he arrived, The Shadowman has been professing, no, bragging on a daily basis, in nearly every single post, about his "unofficial magazine", as if it is the most fantastic magazine since PCGAMER. He has done so in a highly irritating manner, a manner which reeks of stupidity and ignorance. The work which he has turned up in this thread, does NOT come within even angstrom of resembling the output of a team of "expert workers" as he has put it himself. One notebook file, and one talentless MSpaint magazine title does not the spoils of a team of magazine editors and graphic artists make.

Lets face it, there is no team - it's just him, a cheap computer, a cheap printer, and a retarded little "spam the neighbourhood" unofficial magazine project. He sucks at posting and he sucks at making magazines, yet we the people of OWF have been spending months putting up with his crap. All for what? Some failed stab at creating a magazine?

I could do better than that without even trying. If I actually put effort into it, and researched the art of magazine creation, then I could produce something which stands so far away from the "UOM" in terms of quality, that it's practically on a different continent.

You guys put up with me, and I think that is honourable, since I'm a total asshole. But at least I return the favour occasionally by uploading art that is worth looking at, and contributing posts that are intelligible and generally worth reading - I can take part in an intelligent debate, and sometimes come out with some jokes that the odd person might appreciate. But I have never, not even ONCE, seen The Shadowman justify your patience.

That is all.

Mawk I would take time to personly respond to each of those questions but instead...screw you. The reason you haven't heard about it as much as everyone else is
A. You stay in the Off Topic
B. You wher gone for God knows how long

Plus might I mention 1 problem with your stupid and overly typed plan, my good forum member Odd Trusting, this you should have seen. He has been saying where in with the Magizine. Not to mention Godlesswanderer, could tell you a thing or 2 about this. And I though you might have been I nice guy mawk. Oh and you want my age, 18 and I know Odd Trusting will back me up right there. Know If I where you I would have chosen this to be the last place to go off on a tirade at, considering there are good 12 more people then yourself. And god mawk I already told you about this all before. Alcar, a wise man seems not to have any doubts with this project. You mentioned a printer, I bet you never have even saw a high grade printer. Plus you got this all based on fiction. So I am afriad a claim this large will have to be reported, and I am not one of those kind of people. God if this is who you get your fun I don't think the forums would want someone going on like that. To anyone reading this pay no head to him he has been like this and I am going to take care of this problem.

At first I thought mawk was an ok and nice enough guy. But after this unprovoked and untruthful outburst, I've had to rethink my opinion.

Also, I think mawks account has been hacked or something, look at his signature.
