Abeguy: If you want to critique someone, be less hard-balled about it. It was shocking to see you come down on someone so hard, just because they don't draw as well as others who you've been sugaring up (ahem, the "Master of art" here can't even draw a decent circle...) Be less blunt, please.
T-Nex: Don't cry or feel ashamed when you are critiqued, be strong and use it as a means of self-improvement. Disapline...however it's spelled...is a sign that you do want to improve. And believe me, the ability to convey thoughts and feelings onto paper is a wonderful thing, so you will want to use those critiques.
Now, what Abeguy said is true: the face is much too wide.
Use pencil more and make the head an equal length. Sam's eyes sort of droop, but her skull is mainly an egg shape. You could just do a sketch and take a picture of it with a digital camera if you don't have a scanner.
I'll try to get a picture of the Sam sculpt to your e-mail by this evening.
Good luck with your art.
Dammit, how did I know you were right here? All this hoobla up there is reguarding the first picture.
