I think they were used to promote OWI at GDC although I'll be buggered if I can work out how Alcar got ahold of them.

Video game merchandise is usually picked up by evil people who love to profit from it by selling it to extremely fanatical fans (if it's not picked up by the fans themselves, at least). I'll bet that's how Alcar got ahold of it.

A merchandise shop would be iffy. The Oddworld merchandise to date is usually just handed out at GDC, E3, handed out to press members and lucky fans who visit the studios, and such. It's not really mass produced in a way that would satisfy the demand of an online shop. The only things for which this could work are the games, the book, and perhaps the bonus DVD.

There did used to be plenty of merch at the old GT Store. My god how I now wished I'd have been Internet-literate enough in those days to buy it all. *sigh*

I agree with smerles, though. It's definitely time for an Oddworld merchandise shop. Mass-production must be under way!

Just to confirm, I bought those badges off eBay for a very steep price. Way more than I'd usually pay for a badge. As for the Gabbit Juice, that was a gift

I'm here, and I only just realised today that I had to draw the winners. Oddworld Universe is behind, as I'm extremely busy with School. I'm now studying over five hours each night, compared to complete zilch a few weeks ago - so the sudden conversion is getting to me. Why? Last year of School, with my High School Certificate, which determines whether I get into the University course I have my eyes set on.
