Resident Evil 4

Let me just say that this is one of the best games I've ever played, maybe even the best. It seems to lean more toward action/adventure than survival horror since you are given far more enemies to kill (at one point about 40)and more ammunition at your disposal. It seems that they fixed a lot of the problems such as the camera angles, inventory, and even the voice acting is better. The plot and villians are also very interesting.

One of my only problems is that sometimes it may get a little difficult in some areas, for example more of the enemies can instantly kill you in a variety of gory fashions (the chainsaw psycho AKA Dr.Salvador carving your head off) but that didn't stop me. Also, At different points throughout the game you have to babysit the President's daughter, and I didn't look forward to that, but she has good A.I. and I wasn't too frustrated. If you have a Gamecube (which seems like many of you don't) you should definitely buy this game.

Psh, what conformers. Some of the game industries best laughs came from the horrible beyond horrible voices and constant whackoff-esque gestures.

I didn't know the game was actually out yet, anyways. But I don't really dig the philosophy of more enemies, more ammo. That was what made the series great before. Slower gameplay = better atmosphere = bigger jumps. Perhaps, someday, I shall play this game. In the meantime, I have no gamecube, and don't plan on buying one anytime soon.

Yes, it was a shame there were no "Jill sandwitch" lines.

It still has great atmosphere, but to tell you the truth, I was getting tired of the old resident evils. This one was more frantic with so many things happening at once. There were some times I ran out of ammo, but it was rare. Yet I always did have left over of bullets in the old games. It still has moments where strategy is needed to take down enemies, instead of blowing thier brains out. One such creature is the regenerator, which appears later on in the game. Unfortunately, once you know how to defeat them, they become pathetically easy.

I will most likely play this game as a PS2 version is being developed.

I got the gamecube for this very game. It was only $80, so what the hell.

After I got the cube, however, I soon fell in love with some of the other games available for the system.
