Release Dates

I'm having a bit of trouble determining exact release dates for all Oddworld games, in all three major gaming markets. I do have exact dates for some, but I'm not sure if they are correct, so I've ommitted them so that anyone replying can give me an unbiased response. So far I've got:

Abe's Oddysee
USA: September 1997 (do not know day)
EUR: September 1997 (do not know day)
JAP: ?? (know nothing)

Abe's Exoddus
USA: November 1998 (do not know day)
EUR: November 1998 (do not know day)
JAP: ?? (know nothing)

Munch's Oddysee
USA: November 2001 (do not know day)
EUR: March 2002 (do not know day)
JAP: ?? (was there a JAP release?)

Oddworld Adventures
USA: 1998 (do not know day, month)
EUR: (know nothing)
JAP: ?? (was there a JAP release?)

Oddworld Adventures II
USA: 2000 (do not know day, month)
EUR: (know nothing)
JAP: ?? (was there a JAP release?)

GBA Munch's Oddysee
USA: September 2003 (do not know day)
EUR: (know nothing)
JAP: ?? (was there a JAP release?)

Well, I think that AO came out sometime in 1998 in Japan and I'm sure that AE came out sometime in 1999 in Japan. I'm not sure if the release date for AO in the US is right though. It's been so long that I can't remember for sure, but I think it came out in August 1997, not September. And MO (Xbox) definitely came out November 8, 2001 in the US.

Research shows that Munch's Oddysee in Australia and Europe were on the 14th March 2002, to coincide with the Launch of the Xbox in these regions. However, odd chick, you say November 8 2001 for the US, although, wasn't the Xbox launched on the 15th? (Although I vaguely recall something about the game being released earlier, due to the Xbox being delayed a week?)

Although, I don't think Japan ever got Munch's Oddysee, correct?

Hmmm. Well, some sources say that the game was released on the 8th, some say even earlier than that, but some say it was later than that. All I know is that it was released on Xbox launch date. And I believe that you're right-I don't think that Japan got MO.

Everything else seems to point to the 15th, but that nagging feeling tells me something ain't right. Or it could be that tick leeching my blood on the back of my neck.

I have two sources that tell me that the game was released on Odd Friday, the 19th September 1997. However, I also have the following dates:
U.S.A.: 31st August 1997
U.K.: 1st September 1997
Japan: 11th December 1997

Abe's Exoddus
U.S.A.: 17th November 1998
Japan: 26th August 1999

Munch's Oddysee
U.S.A.: 15th November 2001
Canada: 15th November 2001
U.K.: 14th March 2002
Japan: Unreleased

GBA Munch's Oddysee

U.K.: 10th October 2003

Well, after looking through old websites for a while, I remembered that the Art of Oddworld book mentions when the games come out. I looked to see if it had specific dates, and sure enough...it did.

AE Release Date(according to AoOWI): 11/23/1998

However, three seperate old sites have three different dates.

Lastly, I haven't searched for a MO release date on the net, but the AoOWI says this...and it seems familiar.

I don't think Japan has Xbox, is that correct? I always thought that was why MO was never released in Japan.... I'm not entirely sure, so don't take my word for it.

What ever happened to the Japanese member of these forums? I can't remember his exact name, but it started with @a I'm sure

Japan has the Xbox, just not MO. And I think the Japanese member's name is @atsuya or something like that, right?
