What is your favorite moment in Oddworld?

What is your favorite moment in the CGI cut-scenes in any of the Oddworld games? I like this little scenario...

Abe: This is bad, what do I do now?

Blind Mud: What do you do? How about leadin' us outa here?

Abe: Uh, okay, follow me

Blind Mud: Oh, okay

Abe: But-

Blind Mud: WWWWWWWOOOOOOAAAAAHHHHHH!!! *thud*

Abe: Oops! I forgot he was blind!!

(I don't know if this thread was posted more than once, but it could have been because my computer is acting all screwy right now. Sorry if it is on here more than once!)

The funniest part of of that was the fact that it was so obviously a game hint.

Best part ever in Dippy's opinion: The "Guess Who" blinking on the bombs during the Vykker Labs explosion in the good ending of Munch.

Just adds to the hilarity of the situation.

I find I derive much enjoyment, from the film segments featuring the Glukkons and, "The Magog on the March." Of course, for lack of playing Munch's Oddysee, I am (thus far) ignorant of whatever wonderful experiances might be located in it's movie portion.

I enjoyed the part in Abe's Oddysee where you enter the Monsaic Lines, only to see the huge Mudokon statues. It's really such a beautiful scene.

Agreed, Alcar. Been so long since I played the games that I forget most of the exact cutscenes, but all the native/natural ones were the ones I liked - esecially the deep, dank foresty ones; I don't know why, maybe it was just the idea of exploring them. :P

Still never played Munch, although my brother has it on his Xbox and I've watched him play a bit. Must confess all the cartoony noises irritated me after only about 5 minutes.

I like the part in Abe's oddysee when abes see's what going on in the board, and the whole intro in Abe's oddysee. And when you see the train and muds walking in the desert. Oh and I love the part in MO when the interns carry munch and then we see marked on his, and a chainsaw noise in the background.

I love the FMV in MO with Lulu entering Vykker's Lab. Great music and absolutely stunning visuals.

I also lilke when Humphrey pulls down the screen and demonstrates why he's giving Munch sonar. It always makes me laugh.

The best moment I had with AO was when first playing the demo, together with my sister and mum. Escpecially when it was said: pull the lever. You did it and: WHOOOAAAH. TOEDOENG DOENG. abe: WOOPS. That was the first moment I felt really in love with the game, because it was so funny.

And the best cutscene: AE: When rolling out of the euh, forgot the name, but when you destroyed the factory and were rolling out of the pipe while all the flames are coming after you, and you land on the big teeth and said :HUMMMPS OOH or something like that :P. I really felt that by myself too :P

My favorite Vid was in AO when Abe just escaped the "Stock Yards" and began with "I had just got past those Slogs..." ; to me that whole video showed the great mystic side of Oddworld.

Another favorite is the good ending in MO, I guess cause it seemed like a movie.

The Movie sequence when Abe is placing his paw in the face of the moon, like Oddsville, but unlike Oddsville, I liek the Bad Ending of MO (I only need to get the Saving Bonus and I've gottem all!)

*Bursts out laughing.*

Yes...very dramatic fellow, isn't he?

Another deliciouslt diabolical scene, is when Abe has successfully destroyed SoulStorm Brewery, and the ever-so-cruel Led sign, located within the boiler room, above the Glukkon called, "The Brewmaster," reads: Oops!

I watched the Abe FMVs again yesterday. One of my other faves is the glukkon conference in AE.

"What if he gets the boiler?"
"The boiler?"
"What are we going to do?"
"The boiler!"
"What are we going to doooooo?"
"Yeah!"

...or something like that. I'm working from memory here.

Lol, Phelg's Conference, and the Boiler Scene, not to mention every other cut scene in Abe's Exoddus had me in histerics. The cut scenes from Abe's Oddysee were great because they had a very dark and spiritual feeling to them.

BTW I'm surprised there's nowhere online to read the scripts for all the FMVs. I was googling for a site yesterday to find the text of the boiler quote.

Ha, yes, I have transcribed all the movies. It was indeed planned for The Oddworld Encyclopaedia. That's all I can say: even I don't know what's going to happen about that.

I don't know about a very favourite moment, but the good ending for Munch's Oddysee usually brings me to the brink of tears, though never the point of no return, as it were. It's the whole auction sequence tension that does it, I guess. It's a beautiful rounding off of the story.

I also might mention that it was the Conference FMV that really made me appreciate the complexity and depth of Abe's Exoddus, and then after months of having owned the game. It's the Glukkons descending into agitated madness that I love, I guess. It's really fun to watch.

Well, I like the good ending of MO, at the auction part. Silence, possession and then... "2 million Moolah." I have the German version, and it sounds funny that way (Zwei million Meuro.). Can someone tell me more of that sceene in English?

And in AE, the Glukkons' conferences: Aslik, Phleg, Dripik, and the Jr. Executives. I like those too.
