I need to know what dates members will be on holidays from now until the end of March. I need to plan a few things, and it would help if I knew when holidays occured so that I could co-ordinate the best possible dates. It would be appreciated if a person from every country we have here could contribute (as I assume most countries run a uniformal holiday scheme). Also, if you live in different states (Australia, United States, etc) and the dates are different, could you also post and let me know.
Australia, New South Wales will be (generally) on holidays from:
20th December 2004 through to 28th January 2005. There are no other holiday breaks from then to the end of March.

about the 17th December to the 3rd of January? It's normally around this time for Christmas.
Then there's the half term... around six or so weeks after that, which puts it at the end of Frebruary.
Well I'm away from work from the 24th of Dec to the 2nd of Jan and the 11th to the 21st of Feb; which means I won't be visiting the forums as my home connection is slow as

Every US citizen is going to have to give their own seperate holidays. It all comes down to individual school districts. Anyways...
Thanksgiving Break (Nov):
Monday the 22nd -> Friday the 26th
Christmas/New Years (December/January):
Monday the 20th -> Monday the 3rd (School returns on a Tuesday)
Martin Luther King Day (Jan):
Monday the 17th
Spring Break (March):
Friday the 18th -> Monday the 28th (School returns on a Tuesday) [Note I will be gone, however, between the 18th and 21st on a band trip]
That is what I expected with the US residents. It is a nuisance, but one that must be dealt with. Haha, as soon as I have enough Holiday timings, I've still got to work out a proper timezone agreement
