*Sighs* Originally, Hunter did have a teeny bit of Albertosaurus in him so that it wouldn't make him look as stupid as simply a BigBro with a Slog's legs. How the DNA got there is beyond me. Plus, it makes him a bit faster and meaner. Even though it is believed that the Carnosaurs walked in a sort of fashion that acted as a lever, I have Hunter walking upright... however he does run in the manner of a Carnosaur.

not to be agruementive...but doesn't it sound a bit 'unrealistic' for Dino DNA to get to Oddworld...unless the Vykkers got a time/space travel machine and traveled back in time to the age of the dinosaurs on Earth...

Yes, I realize that it does. But I just didn't know what else to stick in there to give him the right look. Dragon would be... too ... don't know what the word is I'm looking for. I could've put Mud in there, I suppose, but it may have really been weird to work with.

*ahem* So, Rach, do you think it is realistic to have Dragon DNA on Oddworld, then? I mean, Dinosaurs may be extinct, but on the other hand, Dragons never existed in the first place... Or if they did, they're extinct too... Besides, both creatures live in a different Universe to Oddworld, anyway...

I have explained how Dragon DNA got to Oddworld in one of my fics Rettick. And my dragons are based off of my non-Oddworld fics :P
Besides...Oddworld isn't 'real' either.

Doesn't make it any less Unrealistic, which is the term you used to describe Em's set-up... And if Oddworld isn't real, what difference does it make whether Dino DNA is realistic or not? :P yourself...

I was mainly refering to the 'how' the DNA got to Oddworld. Spider and co got their dragon DNA from Dragadon, who ported to Oddworld over a 1000 years ago. Besides...to me dragons are real and that is what matters to me!

*Sighs**Is very pissy for female reasons**Knew this would happen* Yep... once again one of my picture topics turns into a debate over something very miniscule. I'm not trying to "yell" or blame anyone here, but it seems that out of 4 pics I've posted here in a while, 3 have caused some sort of debate. I'm sick of it. I just want to show people my art... my art is in the "fantasy" part of my brain, so it doesn't have to make sense. They're my characters, my art, my emotions. Believe it or not, Hunter is not really a big mutant I RP with: Hunter is a part of my spirit, a large part of it. He is part of my emotional side... the side of me still trying to figure out who I am. Sure, he's part dinosaur. Feh! Big deal, it's all fantasy. So please guys, we're all FRIENDS here... we all have different viewpoints... art is how I express myself. I'd really appreciate it if this wouldn't happen in the future... because I'm to the point where I don't want to post my art on OF anymore. *Shrugs* I'm just sick of it. Once again, I'm not blaming anyone... just releasing something that's really been bothering me lately.

eep...thou art right my kin. It doesn't matter whether it is 'realistic' or not, it doesn't matter what the character is made out of...like it or not all our characters are a small part of us. We shouldn't question why we have a character such a way...I apologize kin....

*puts finger in air* Elums are runners, aren't they? That's what Nexus (uhm, sorry, Yaaren. I seem to be slipping back into his gladiatorial name again) has in him, and he doesn't look too out-of-place... besides, there's four elum species floating about (well, in my little version of the world there are - shaggy polar, (furry); domestic (the "actual" species); dwarf (looks more like a frog, though) and plains (huge great beasts with honking great legs. Adult bulls kick drakkic tails quite easily... *grins and runs*))

Ike! Off topic again. Sorry BD... but hey, there's a suggestion for you, so no-one else comments...

A new cirtter, called the "jara". It's a weird lil' thing I had to draw. They're about 5.5 feet tall... tall enough to ride. Typically they are colored like horses are, and are covered with a short, horse-like hair. They are an intelligent race, yet they pretend not to be. I guess their way of figuring things is that they don't want their kind ending up like the Glukks... so they pretend to be stupid... oh well. They are an endangered species as the plains that they roam are quickly being destroyed. Usually high-ranking officials and royalty ride them instead of Elum. *Shrugs*

I managed to look at it by putting the url in the addy bar. It's a cool creature; it's like a sort of horse-Elum-dino thingie, but in a good way.

BD, UBB code often puts spaces in urls or in the tags themselves... try using html tags; they almost never go wrong.
