I had a friend who used to own a set of pellet guns that were made to look like real rifles. He was playing with a bunch of friends when one guy ran out the front of his house for a moment. A neighbour panicked and called the cops who blocked off the road (he lived on quite a major road) and called in the SWAT team (or whatever the australian equivalent is) who were just about to blast in and shoot everyone when they realised that it was just a few kids playing around (completely oblivious to the tumult happening just outside their front door). The SWAT captain gave them a long lecture about how they were bad kids and should be sent to juvi', confiscated their guns and left.

Five minutes later the guys parents arrived home, telling their son about how the traffic was banked up for so long and they couldn't understand why. By the time he told me the story (five years later) he still hadn't admitted the truth to them.

hm....well, once I was in the airport waiting for a relative to arrive, and it turned out she was arriving to another airport, so we had to hurry, I was running to my dad's car...and some lameass military guy stopped me and asked me what I was doing O_o (while all his coleagues looked at me all freaked out ¬_¬) like running around was a major crime

Never been in trouble with the police... which is pretty surprising looking back at the stuff I've got up to...

But last Wednesday I met my sister in the town centre after work and she was showing me the huuuuge bump on her head that she got the night before (Don't ask!... just search for the most recent alcohol thread!) I must have looked really concerned as I lifted up her fringe to have a really good look as two police officers asked if everything was okay. We thanked them for their concern... now to me thats real policing!

They started pushing each other in it around the carpark. The police arrived and arrested them for car theft and driving without a license, even though they were twelve years old and only driving Fred Flintstone-style.

Well I got pulled over for doing 42 in a 25mph speed limit but the officier gave me only a written warning. Then I got pulled over for haveing expired plates. Woops that was $60.00 out of my pocket! Then on accident I dialed 911 instead of 411 for information and I had to confront the officier.

Yep in my state the police are a bunch of ****ed up doughnut eating morons.
