Munch's Oddysee: GBA. Does everyone know what happens?

Just wondering, I thought I heard some people say that they didnt know what exactly happened in MO on the GBA, so I thought I should just clear a few things up, maybe people could hear stuff they hadnt known before, which may be useful to their websites...

Story: (started from the relevant bit of the manual)
Now, after the success against the Vykkers and Glukkons, Munch and Abe were hoping for a bit of a break. Unfortunately, there is no rest for the weary, especially when you are the saviour of the Mudokon race. Called to a meeting by the almighty Raisin, Munch and Abe learn of Break Wind Hill, a sacred land of the Mudokon race. Protected by pure winds, the mudokon race has dwelled for since ancient times undisturbed by outsiders... until recently that is. The pollution caused by the greedy Glukkons recent construction of Evenwurst Weenerz Co. has corrupted the protection of break wind hill, allowing for many of Abes fellow mudokons to be captured and put to work as slave laborers. The Almighty Raisin also informs munch and abe that the glukkon stronghold Fort Glokz likely funds the factory. The almighty Raisin orders munch and abe to stop the factory and liberate the wealth within fort glokz in order to restore the sacred land.

Abe and munch split up,Munch entering the facotries drainage system, finding his way blocked abe using a storm circle to electrically open the sluice gate, opening munches way, who finds a lever opening a gate for abe to enter. They eventually reach the offices of Evenwurst Weenerz Co, and witness a Glockstar, the owner of fort glokz and evernwurst weenerz, entrusting the factory leader/ Glukkon Chump with the key card to open fort Glokz's vaults. Once the Glockstar leaves, Abe does his thing, and retrieves the key card from the unpossesed body.
Finding their way to fort glokz is blocked, they head into wind break hill in search of the rumoured hidden flying machine. Activating a storm circle to power the machine, they fly to fort glokz, but are shot down above it. Crashing down, seperated, they work their way inwards and find the inner most area, defeat the glockstar, and using a small army of workers, transport the golden eggs hoarded in fort glokz away to fund further crusades.
Going back to the almighty Raisin, he says some of the gold in theirs to keep, to be used on the final mission for now ; Take a vacation
END
So, any questions?

Wow! thanks a bunch

I do have a question, is the flying machine a Blimp?

and are you sure they refer to the eggs as "Golden eggs"? Because I've never heard any mention of gold on oddworld before.

this looks really bad...I dont think this is something OWI would do at all...final mission? what about the other 3 quintologies? O_O....and it looks like the game has no social implications at all...sounds so much like a fanfic -_-

did OWI make the plot for the license at all?...or is it just one of those made up adventures?

The story doesn't have any social implications, agreed, but it's just a little GBA game. It's creation is probably a result of Microsoft wanting to try and make something more from the Oddworld franchise. Personally, I like the story enough, it's hardly major enough to be considered a full game. It's almost like a little cheap bonus game.

As for the final mission, I think they mean the final mission within the game.

It looks just like a bird. Notice there are actual mountains in the background of the middle shot. The third pic is just a turbine, I think. The interesting additions to MO GBA are elevators (not platforms) and floating floors, the second of which Munch can control.

Thanks for the pics, WiLL!

The 3rd pic is not the flying machine just a fight: intern vs slig... I don't know, but I heard that Interns never "meet" sligs in the MO.

Nope.Interns live where vykkers go.Sligs are the glukkons guards. And the vykkers work in labs with padded walls.A gluk would be sick at that enviroment. They live in a fancy office in big factories.Hence the envoriments are different they are adjusted to that. And I don't think a slig could put up with a vykker bitching at him.....Could you?

In my opinion, it looks like the developers of MO:GBA made one crappy game. I only trust OWI with Oddworld. This other stuff means nothing to me, because I know Golden Eggs and BreakWind-Hill aren't any precursor to future Oddworld events.

I really disliked that game, you couldn't move a posessed enemy into a different area and it was too easy.

I couldn't but the sligs do put up with the gluks yelling at them with no problem.

The vykkers and interns have a relationship as two species that evolved together (almost symbiotically) so the vykkers would have no need for sligs. Gluks probably prefer sligs to interns as they obey mindlessly whereas I get the impression that the interns are smartarses (thus the stitched-lips). Also interns would not want to work for gluks as they sould miss out on their medication and the chance to dissect live animals.
