AE: In odd we trust

Ok, here is the deal. I was browsing around a dutch site pretty much like e bay, things auctioned there. I was looking for an American version of AE cuz the europian version wont work on my ****ing XP comp!
Anyway, in my search I stumbled accross a new name I never saw before. It wasnt just a second name cuz in the list it said:

Game's for sale:

balblalblblalblabla...

Abe's Exoddus
Abe's Exoddus: In Odd we trust

So needless to say I got pretty curius, I already mailed the owner, but do any of you guys know something about this?

BTW, does anyone want to sell their american version of AE to me? *Looks verry verry nice* :P.

"In Odd We Trust" was merely some of text used on the game's cover image. The seller has obviously taken it for the name of the game.

Yep, it's just a misunderstanding. It's be like producing the full title of AO as Abe's Oddysee: Gaming Gets Odd, or for MO, Munch's Oddysee: A Screaming Good Time. It's just the tag which is used to promote the product.

I think they got that slogan from American coins. Because on the coins it says "In God we trust." They just changed God with Odd and made a nifty slogan from. That is my favorite Oddworld premotional slogan. Munch had a number of slogans infact the first Munch slogan was "May Odd help us."

Then they had "Powers up to the People", then "A Screaming Good Time."

Ever go to a thread where you want to reply, but there's really nothing for you to add because the question has allready been answered? I'm feeling that now.

Well, on the cover of MO it says Refreshingly Twisted, so that's another MO slogan. Yay for me!

Here is one I stumbled on once. Abes Oddysee: Now you're next on the menu! I was confused as well untill I realised that it merely said it on the back so someone had mistaken it for the name. Common problem in gaming if you think about it (Pokemon: Pikachu version, Dino crisis 2: They're back, this leads you to think its a remake of Dino crisis 2)
