An address? Ad-dress? EDIT: Whoa! Splat posted faster than me! I still figured it out all by myself.

Oh, and my riddle still stands.

:
Okay, you're trapped in a dungeon and you come upon a little old man standing in front of two doors. "One door will lead you to freedom, and the other to a horrible death," he says, "The left door is the way out, but I always lie."
:
Well, if the old man always lies, then it's not sure that the doors lead to the places he described. Maybe both of the doors are leading to freedom... or death.
There is one good door, and one bad.

An Address is technically not a dress. Sure, it includes the word 'dress', but that does not make it as dress. It is it's own unique noun.

On Oddguys riddle:
'Okay, you're trapped in a dungeon and you come upon a little old man standing in front of two doors. "One door will lead you to freedom, and the other to a horrible death," he says, "The left door is the way out, but I always lie.'

OK. He always lies. Therefore, one door does NOT lead to freedom and neither does one lead to a horrible death.
So either the doors lead to nowhere, or to slavery. And that's both of them.
And the left door leads out - lie, so it doesn't lead out. And neither oes the right door, because of the above.
No doors lead anywhere.

edit: ah crap, just realised the paradox of him lying about always lying.
Ignore my response.

My riddle is one where you figure out the best answer for youself, because there is no real solution.

My interpretation:

Okay, the man said he always lied, but if that were so he just told you the truth, which in turn means he just lied to you about always lying. One thing is for certain, the man cannot be trusted.

To figure out this riddle, I'd analize the old man...not the riddle. the riddle is just there to confuse. Okay, the man told you that he always lied, then told you the left door lead to freedom. The casual observer would say the opposite door, (right) actually lead to safety. I think the old man gave you the correct door to go through, then told you he always lied to throw you off. This is why I think the left door is the way out.

What do you think?

Idea (Fanfare) A RIDDLE!!!

I wouldn't trust him.

Ok, here's a riddle. Bet you can't think of the answer!

In marble walls as white as milk,
Lined with skin as soft as silk,
Within a fountain crystal clear,
A golden apple does appear.
No doors are there to this stronghold-
Yet thieves break in and steal the gold.

Do you know what it is?

I love this one...

Thirty white horses, on a red hill,
first they stamp, then they champ,
then they stand still.

If you read the book, don't answer.

Ah, I think I have an idea with the lying man. He said he always lies. This contradicts itself if you at first think it to be true, so the next thing I come up with... is that he sometimes lies. It could well be either door. I say you beat him senseless for being so untrustworthy, then try to figure it out.

Ok, heres another riddle.

Old Mother Twitchet had one eye,
And a long tail that she let fly,
And every time she went through a gap,
She left a bit of her tail in the trap.

What is Old Mother Twitchet?

Twitchet is a sowing needle.

As for the lying man: Ask him which door he would take. He'll lie, and say the wrong door. Then you gotta take the other one.

I'm sorry. I just thought it was somewhat rude that other people were posting riddles, when mine wasn't even finished being solved. The nerve! So, I just gave up the answer because I feared that if I didn't, it'd be forgoten.
