Arrow Random Digital Paintings

Well, this is sorta like Muse's thread. Just random digital paintings inspired by various things; Photoshop practice...

Anyway, to kick things off, here's some random painting of two... commando type guys in some jungle. You'll notice I'm not that keen on detail. The idea is that you squint and it looks real (well sorta). And yes, I know I'm not that good with colours.

That's actually very well done. Art doesn't always have to be perfect in detail. Sometimes implied background looks better and has a greater effect.

Ah! Excellent! Making their eye thingies red was a good choice.

For some reason... they remind me of something I've seen in an anime... although I can't remember which one.

I got the same feeling. Weird.

Pretty neat piece. I like the whole non-detailed look of it; allows more to interpretation and imagination to fill in the rest.

Well, here's another one that's even more random than my first one. It didn't turn out as good as I would have hoped for... probably cause of the person. Also, I've fixed some lighting problems in the Jungle scene.

Nice. Personally, I find that the sorta scruffy, scratchy images have more life and movement to them than highly-detailed ones.

I'm not sure how, bu you've given a certain depth to the desert one. You can tell that the tanks are further off than the person, yet you can see the sand right in the drawers eyes, obviously closer than anything else. I like it.
