I don't mean to sound like a bad sport, but I'm not totally happy that you have conducted a fair competition PA.
If their were a total of 4 votes for CG, and a total of 9 entries, with just 4 competitors, that means that CG had more entries than everyone else, so even if everyone voted only once for every single piece of art, CG still would've won, because he had the most art. In other words, this has turned into a competition of quantity, and not nessacerily quality.
Also, you said that the other reason he won was because of his diverse range of styles. This concerns me that again the criteria for a winner wasn't well defined, or wasn't defined well enough for this to be a serious competition.
A common art competition would be based on the best art, and the artist of that piece of art that got the most votes won. This allowed the artist to enter several pieces, but would only win as a result of one piece of art, yet you seem to have judged it cumulatively, which is actually unfair, because there were varying amounts of work per artist.
So I demand to see the votes listed. I want to see that Canned Gabbiar actually won fairly. And if he didn't win fairly as no fault of his own, I demand a re-vote for decembers contest.
Again, I really don't mean to sound like a bad sport, but too many of us have worked far too had on our entries for this to end as a bit of a confusing anti-climax.
