Why Fox is a crappy station in 3 easy steps

1. A glut of lousy reality shows. Seriously, Fox is the worst at this kind of garbage. Temptation Island, My Big Fat Obnoxious Fiance(sp?), Who Wants to Marry a Millionaire, etc. These shows all suck.
2. They keep crappy "Legacy" shows on the air. Specifically, the Simpsons I'm sick and tired of these shows getting preferential treatment. Its sickening how high-quality shows like Futurama, Action!, Brimstone, and Family Guy get cancelled prematurely so we can watch an hour and a half or The Simpsons, Malcom in the Middle, or King of the Hill. This happens with a disturbing frequency.
3. Preemptons, bad ordering and seemingly random scheduling. How many times does a deserving show have this happen to it on Fox? Fox orders a set of episodes and says it is "really pumped" about a series. Unfortunately, marathons of crap shows and Nascar BoreHundred preempt the series and force a ton of episodes to be cut in length, started late, or not even shown at all! To show their sorrow over their idiotic business practices Fox squat-humps the series again by shuffling it all throughout the night. Its on at 6, 7, 9, or not at all. TV Guide and the Fox websites don't even list when they'll air a show so tons of people miss an episode because nobody has a friggin' clue when it will air, if at all. Since Fox was being an asshole and jerking a cool show around, the show fails to meet its ratings mark. Instead of apologizing and promising not to act like jackasses next year, Fox cancels the show mid season or during a cliffhanger.

We have BSkyB here in the Uk, which is the same company basically and I can identify with most of that, I really wish they'd show family guy instead of the same old repeats of the simpsons, and the ever dire King Of the Hill. I do enjoy Malcom In the Middle though, but I'm sure that's going to be repeated non-stop sometime soon.

Reality tv= shite.

It really is, Whoever thought of the concept of watching people be boring on TV should have been shot on site. I don't understand how watching boring people argue and then become famous for a week after they leave, has ever become popular...

American Idol

The O.C.

That's it. The wierd thing is, that's about the only tv I really watch besides the news and random programming.

Malcom in the Middle is good. I've abandoned pretty much everything else there though. NBC has Law & Order, which is the ultimate kick ass show. WB has Charmed.

I watch TNT quite a bit though, because of the pure, sweet, massive amount of Law & Order, and Charmed everyday. And then comes glorious CBS, with their nice slew of shows. CSI, CIS: Miami, Without a Trace, Hack, JAG, Two and a Half Men, Hack and Navy NCIS. Great station, that CBS. Primetime = good.

So yea, you're right. Fox sucks ass.

The Simpsons are still the best cartoon on televison, and still great after all these years. I agree that Futurama and Family Guy were cancelled for crap, but Family Guy is coming back... again.

By the way, My Big Fat Obnoxious Fiance was hilarious, possibly the best reality TV show I've ever seen. I doubt you stuck around to check it out.

I watched some of it. Relatively entertaining, for a reality show at least. The actor guy was cool.

Now that Majic mentions it...I do watch C.S.I. and occasionaly watch Law and Order.
