Super Bowl Commercials!

I don't know about you guys, but the commercials for the super bowl were very dull. I think the one with the old people going for the chips was the best, and that one was mediocre. What do you kids think?

I only saw some of the pregame ones. I watched teh Charmed marathon most of the day

I remember seeing a Pepsi commercial though, promoting legal music downloading. It was awful. Attempting to inspire legalized music downloading, and make people want to drink Pepsi at the same time. Psh.

I agree with both of you, the comercials sucked. I dunno about u but its seems that every year the comercials are getting worse. They used to be good but thats advirtiseing for ya. I know because I learn about advirtiseing all the time. Go figure they put millions of American dollors to make these comercials to make it so big but yet dull that its just completely retarded. If u had that money to make comercials u would think they would make great comercials. I guess not.

Well we get ripped off over here ... they don't give us the commercials. We just get load of damn soccer commercials on ESPN ... and on the other station some Aussie guys were talking about the game when the commercials were meant to be on. We actually had three stations [2 cable and one free to air] broadcasting the game ... and that's in Australia!

Man, the commercials blew! The Staples one was pretty all right, and so was the first Sierra Mist one. One thing I noticed was the attempt to be loud obvious, and gross like the Budweiser and Mitsubishi commercials. Sorry, doesn't work. At the best they'll get a cheap laugh and at the worst they'll turn you off on a project or product. And Shards O Glass? More like What the F!@#! I was annoyed and got serious de ja vu from that one.

I liked the one where those two trucks were throwing stuff at the cars, but then they didn't even finish it! SeeWhatHappensNext.com?! I was annoyed.

I tend to agree, from the few commercials I saw, they werent too good this year. Last year they were better especially that castaway one.

The Super Bowl game was great, but the commercials sucked and so did the halftime show. Oh, and all over the news they're talking about how Justin ripped off part of Janet's top. Apparently that wasn't planned.

Yeah, but they cut away so quickly! Thanks soccer moms for spoiling the half-time show! Also, we got to see the kicker for 2 whole minutes instead of a wildly inventive streaker? What's with that?

Well, I didn't really have time to see the superbowl, I just saw the end. But I did see the Budwiser commercial when the two people are in the sled. IT WAS SO FUNNY!

Especially at the end when the guy said,"Cool! Rocket sled"

they were kinda lame but wow one that makes me cry everytime i see it is the Quzinos one... its so stupid its hilarious.. did ne of u see it?

I didn't see much of the superbowl or the commercials, I did enjoy the ball-biting Budweiser commercial, aswell as the Fed Ex alien one, I thought they were atleast remotely funny. Anyone see the preview for "Van Helsing" it looks a bit around the artichoke if you know what I mean but will see it nonetheless.

A bit around the artichoke? Baby, that movie looks like it will not only go around the artichoke, but circumnambulate the entire plant kingdom. Comparably, after this movie, an Ed Wood flick and Battlefield Earth will seem "a bit around the artichoke."

Yeah it wasnt planned until the last minute, I thought that was pretty stupid of her and Justin. She got kicked out of the Grammys for it.

I heard some stupid people on tv say that the whole thing is racist, because Janet isn't going to the Grammys and Justin is. Pffft!

It was probably to take away also publicity towards Michael's whole weird stuff right now, and just put the focus on her and not her brother. But oh well, who really knows...?

Jesus, people! It's a friggin' nipple. We all have a set of 'em. In fact, I'm staring at my own nipple right now! Parents freaked out because their kids saw a COVERED NIPPLE. Moms throughout the world, explain to your children that a healthy appreciation of nipples would go a long way to bringing world peace...and that your kid did his part when he was sucking on your tit in young age. Also, its utter bullcrap that little pissant Timberlake got to go to the Grammys. Isn't the grabber just as bad, if not worse than, the grabbee?

I wasn't really offended by it, but here's the thing......people were offended. Janet made a statement saying that she planned the stunt last minute without telling Justin, MTV or CBS...she was the only one that was responsible, therfore she gets punished by not going to the Grammys. Also, by appearing on television, you have a responsibilty to keep broadcast standards, because the public trusts these standards. If you break the standard, people are going to be offended and get upset, especially when the Super Bowl is the most wathced event in America.

I think both of them were in on it. J.T. was getting ready to "assist" Janet in ripping off the other side, the lace was clearly glued to the cup, and MTV kept on hyping it by saying that something "shocking" was going to happen. Gee, could that shocking thing have been that little pissant Timberlake ripping half of Jackson's upper suit off?

Well I think she got what she deserved. That confession was so forced, she wasnt really sorry, she wanted the publicity and Im personally glad they threw her out of the Grammys.
