Larger Avatars and Signatures

Recently we had a proposition made for larger avatars and an allowance for more text on the signatures.

As you may have noticed, I have both an oversized avatar and signature, so you can use this to see what they would look like if implimented.

Proposition:

1. Larger custom avatar allowance (i.e 100px x 100px)

2. More text for signatures (i.e. maybe 2-3 more lines)

3. Slight increase in image size allowance (perhaps 500px wide, length is fine as is).

You can vote for more than one, so vote for the ones you would agree with us implimenting, and leave any comments if you like. Or any other suggestions of something you'd like to have.

I'd be a little against larger banners since I've got a slow connection.

Still, I wouldn't mind a larger av. I found using my own pic was a bad idea when shrunk to 60X60!

As for more text, I think it's alright at 4 lines. You can get across a message without nedding to tell your life story

I vote for either 90x90 or 100x100, for avatars. Either way Im happy that there will be some kind of increase.

I'm with Xavier. Maybe a little increase in avatar sizes, but members are already not following the rules in regards to signatures, having to constantly update them and warn them.

i would indeed like to have larger avatars, i think like 80x80 would be good, 100x100 seems a bit much; one reason i like the forums is because of it's "petitness" (sp?) i think things tend to be more orderly when other things are small, but thats just me....

large sigs would be nice, but not too much larger because, like adder says, lots of ppl dont have the modem speed

I think we should wipe out avatars and signatures all together, this would increase the loading time by heaps!!!

Just jking I dont really want to increase the size coz it would take longer to load and waste of my bandwith.

I voted the top and the bottom.
Slowness in banners doesn't affect me, as I have signatures hidden. But I would like it wider so I can fit one I have on my computer in nicely.
We don't need more lines of signature, on other forums sometimes you end up having to scroll rather a lot to get to the next post.

I voted just for larger avatars - Abe Babe's letterbox-style avatar looks highly stylish. Although truth be told, I'm perfectly content with what we have already.

i know what you mean Fax, i recently joined this new forum, there are like no rules, and it can be quite a hassle to move around on it.

Bigger avatars I think. I want to change my avatar, but the pics that i've got don't really look good in a 60 x 60 frame. 100 x 100 would be fine I think.

I'd like another 3 or 4 lines for sigs. I just can't fit in all i want and a christmas message in the space i have

i would prefer a larger avatar size and maybe some oddworld animation avatars would be nice
