How big a fan are you? -

Ooooh,I dunno...

I bought one of the first 1000 PS2's at £300 a piece and then realised Munch wasn't on it,and now I'm spending another £300 just for Munch,none of the other X-Box games interest me. Oh Yeah,I've Finished Abe's Exoddus 14 times,and Abes Oddysee 12,and I have an Oddworld Web-Site,and I make my own little games about Oddworld especially for it. And I was the Fan of the Month in june (I think.)

Uh, let's see... I've played AE atleast 5 times, I am a member here, I visit the Oddworld site now and then, I write alot of stories and have maybe two or three big books of fan art, I drive my friends in school crazy by talking about Oddworld and the only posters of Oddworld I have is some pictures my cousin have drawed(they're pretty good). Let's just say, I'm not like the biggest of all, but i try real hard.

Oh yeah, that Luxo posted, does that mean the subject is down? I'm just courios...

I don't show it that much, but I'm a big fan. I mean: I will always support OWI (for example by buying their games). I play the games untill I have reached every possible ending, and even now I occasionaly re-play it.

Pretty big Lampion, but I got you beat you son of a gun... I'm 6-4 and weigh 245 pounds with only 4 % body fat,and since I can lift more weight than everyone here I am the biggest Oddworld fan.

Actually I believe that everyone here are the true Oddworld fans,we all know who we are.We are the ones with the greatest taste in games of all people in the universe.

But I have to give my vote to Abe babe and Sydney for putting together there great sites and this Forum. Lets hear it for Sydney and Abe babe,it's about time they take a bow... standing as I clap. Thanks Sydney and Abe babe.

gee compared to some of you I'm not really a fan...heh I guess you can classify me in the same catagory as Rettick: Casual Fan. I come here to forums, which I am obviously a memeber of. I mainly write fics (11 done and 4 more in the works...oy) and draw pics (um...lost count long time ago). Oh and I'm a bit RP crazy....

I have been an Oddworld fan since AO was 4 weeks old. I had bought it and from then on got AE the day it came out. And am waiting for MO to be released in Australia!

This is easy enough to answer!

I hail Abe as my 2nd God. The man (mudoken, rather) destroyed two, count 'em, TWO huge factories BY HIMSELF!

Of course, he had a little help, but basically it was effort alone. He's not a big muscular good-looking superhero like we're all used to seeing. He's the underdog, the one you wouldnt bet on, the one you think would get smashed right at the beginning.. but through all the doubts, Abe comes out on top. And because of that, he has my respect.

I became a fan of Abe when I was 11. My cousin Jordan brought his PSX demo disk over and Abe's Oddssey was on it. I popped the disk in and played for about a minute or so... it freaked me out at first. I kept falling into pits and was being smashed by rampaging rib cages. I finally came upon something that looked just like the dood I was controlling.. and he was sitting underneath a rather dangerous looking THING. There was a lever on the floor above, and my devious mind went to work.

And so, I climbed onto that floor, pulled that lever, and have loved Abe ever since.

As a Kiwi I can't help noticing that there seem to be a lot of Auzzies here!

I am a very new, but very delighted fan. Only experience is with xbox version of MO but I plan on getting the previous pc versions now. You guys make me feel old (at 33) since heaps of you seem to be kids. It's great reading about you all, keep it coming!

I think in the long-run as long as we all love Oddworld, we are all fans. Some of us may show it in more ways than others (I am one of those). I guess the level of devotion we have, may determine how much of a fan you are. But whether you are a true fan, a normal fan, or just a casual fan like Rettick, the main thing is that you are an Oddworld fan.

Welcome to the forums Lisa... I'm one of the Aussies, but my father is from New Zealand, so I guess I'm half Kiwi. I don't feel so old now... as I'm 26, one of the older members of the forums. It's always great to see more adults who play games. BTW... are you still in NZ, or in the US, seeing that you are playing Munch/Xbox?

But I agree with what Abe Babe says, we're all the fans of the same thing when ya get down to it, and that's all that matters! (kind of)
