member 2000 ?

as of this post there are 1,933 members enrolled - will there be any sort of commemoration or acknowledgement for member number 2,000 ? just curious...

I doubt it. like 70% of the people who register don't ever come back, let alone post anything. Besides, there's no real point. Just 'cause they're the 2000th member doesn't mean they're better than anyone else.

mmm...i think you miss the point. i was only thinking that 2000 members (active or not) might be some sort of milestone for the forum in general.

Actually, Abe Babe and I have decided that member #2000 will be promoted to an Administrator as soon as he / she registers

It will be a milestone in the Oddworld Forums history however, just like the 100th member, and 1000th member were.
