just some weird steef questions

Everyones been talking about steef and all but why does he have to be half horse half gorrilla, and any way I thought gorillas and horses have nostrils? in every pic of steef ive seen i havnt seen any nostrils...

Its because Steef isn't just those animals, he is based apon them. For example, he has no nostrils because he has been designed like that, based on a gorilla horse :P.

The Steef does have nostrils, they're like cat nostrils, quite thin and surrounded by a little 'lip' of furlessness.

Steef dose have very small slit like nostrals that are around the top part of the mouth reigon, like Max said.

It's because Raymond Swanland and Ed Fries almost always refer to him as 'The Steef'. The only one to call him just Steef is Lorne, who's the one most likely to want to mislead us.

im going with xav since the game isnt out yet but every one knows about the steef he seems a whole lot better than anything at the moment *takes a deep breath* so is kind of like a worship ikon right now

Looks to me that Steef definately has nostrils- near the eyes like the glukkons but much more obvious.

Maybe they haven't decided yet what his name is. Remember Munch was going to be called 'Latamire Munch' for a long time. You can still see name on his bigraphy in the OWI universe section of the site.

This is probably a stupid question, but now that we know the game is about Steef, have we any idea when it will be released?

Munch may still be called 'Latamire Munch'. There's nothing the game or on Oddworld.com to say he isn't. Alf even refers to him as 'Latamire' in one of the Dear Alf segments.

As for the release, the footage from the X-Factor video is supposedly from September '02. One of the banners reads '20 months before delivery', so my guess is May '04.
