Whats the story? Please share.

Demons have races apparently, such as Legion and the like, but some also have names. Lilith as created with Adam, so technically she isn't a Demon, but she spawned Demon children and when she left Adam God killed 100 of her offspring everyday...the word "mean" and "cruel" springs to mind...and thats the sort of God you worship? He's like Saddam Hussein.

I say we all respect one anothers opinions and walk away! I don't think anybody is helping anyone else at all. This is just an argument thread.

Actually Grig, God had to have made the demons, cause God made everything. The rest of the stuff might be crap, but Jacob is right about that.

WOW! I found "Legion" in the Bible! It was in the verses I posted!

Basically there was a man possessed by demons. He walked around naked and lived in a cave. The demons made him do bad things so he chained himself up. But the demons made him break free and run off into the desert.

The man meets Jesus and says "What do you want with me, Jesus, Son of the Most High God? Please don't punish me!" Jesus asked the man his name and demons responded "Legion" because there were so many demons in the man. They asked Jesus not to send them into eternal darkess.

Jesus sent the demons into a herd of swine and the swine suddenly ran off a cliff and drowned. The now unpossessed man went away and told others about what Jesus had done.

So "Legion" is not really a particular type of demon, but the name used by the group inhabiting the man in the story.

But I thought that GOD made everything that's good or could be good...Demons are evil! Yeah, we already knew about Legion, and I knew the story. I read it the other day. And I knew that was just the name they gave... I read somewhere in the BIBLE that if you know someones name, you have power over it...so that could be why Legion didn't give the real names of all the things in that guy.

I assume that, like humans, demons were created good by God. But since they had free will, they chose to become bad. Does that clear things up? The demons couldn't have created themselves.

Actually if you read the bible god says that he is all. He says that he is good and evil and he is the creator of both. Also Jacob I don't think you saw my second post on page six. It was important to me that you read that. If you could do so I would appreciate it.

I don't exactly know what you were directing me to cos i have no idea what i was supposed to be re-reading.

Anyway, my point was if you can support your habit then you're no danger to anyone. But its the people who can't (social sludge, the human-Cockroaches, Drug-whores...fat people) that get dangerous. From selling themselves (i don't have a problem with Prostitutes if they're supporting their family, but when they're supporting a Drug habit they should be shot) to attacking people. And such.

How many people have you known who have done things like that? None? Me either. I will repeat. I have been a part of the drug culture. You have not. Sending someone to jail for using drugs makes no sense. Rehab makes sense. jail doesn't. Even people like Jacob who has been more then insightfull on this thread and who has also been something of a moral compass can say or think ignorant or misinformed things. There is also nothing wrong with prostitution. It is your body. Do what you will.

You seemed to have misunderstood what i was getting at. If they have a Drugs problem...fine...get them help. However, if because of that Drugs problem they are attacking people/stealing/harming others then they should be put in jail.

I agree. But when using it to support a Drugs problem i think its wrong. Mainly because you will sleep with anything and everything to get the cash...which leads to infections/diseases which in turn leads to people getting infections and diseases which then spreads and ruins peoples lives...

people should all know the risks of sleeping with a prostitute. I sure do....(cough...ahem). We are in agreement on the drug problem topic then. If you had been a little more clear I would not have jumped on you. I just get irritated by the assumption that people who use drugs are immoral and bad people.
