I realise I'm probably not the first one to realise that there are actually 103 Mudokons in Oddworld: Abe's Oddysee....

Thank you all for these encouraging replies! I wasn't expecting it!

Actually, I believe that I rescued 103 (I DO have a picture of the meter with the negative number of employees!!) by way of a glitch or bug or what be. See, I went into one of the Paramonian doors, saved a few muds, left the door WITHOUT activating the flint lock, then went back in the door and rescued the same muds again! It was sheerly by accident. But what fun, huh? I guess you could rescue as many as you wanted!

you know, that happened to me once. I saved the muds in a Scrabanian Temple door, and forgot the flintlock, so I went back to pull the flintlock lever. I decided to go back to where the hidden area was, but the muds i had rescued WERE NOT THERE. Weird, huh?

Strange... perhaps it's just my CD... when I went to the Paramonian Temple door, they were still there--well, more like they had re-appeared! I got double credit for them. My game was always freezing up though... it might have just been a glitch. At any rate though, it was cool!
