Yeh, they cant sue. I do Law, if they were going to sue they would need actual evidence...not some shitty pictures like that, so, calm down children...

Yea but Jacob if that is actual game on X-Box then can't OWI just find out who created that game or which company made it and then use that for their evidence?

No. They would also have to prove whether it was intentional or reckless, this would take alot of time and i'm sure the Lawyers of America would love to help dwindle OWI's money away. Which is another thing, if OWI's did sue they would have to hire a Lawyer, and a good one at that...and they cost money...lots of it.

Well first off, I wouldn't call it overreacting when, at least in my case, it was a joke. It just seemed like an appropriate topic for the content of the thread. However, I do think these fellas from this game do look quite similar to mudokens, face, hair, skin hue. If there were 'Brute Muds' or something in Oddworld I would think this would be quite clsoe to what they'd look like.

However the suing part was just a joke.

I see it I see it already!!! Sheesh! The resemblance is there, undoubtedly, as at least one article has stated. I doubt that it will result in a lawsuit, though. The qualities that make OW truly unique have not been duplicated here...

Of course if one of them happens to be named Alf, or Abe, me and my buddy might have to open up a can of...

Nah, they shouldn't sue for that.
But, i did find a SONIC THE HEDGEHOG game in which, you have to find these wierd animals, lead them past various obsticals, and then open a portal and get them to leap through it to save them.

And in Abe, you have to find these weird aliens, lead them past various obsticals, and then opena a portal and get them toleap through it to save them.

Anybody, noticing a resemblance?

Dude, what the hell? EVERY Sonic game has the little critters. And even if your logic was true, you have it completely backwards. Otherwise, you'd be saying that Sonic, back for the Genesis, copied the idea of saving little critters that came out 2 years ago! Sheesh.

That second picture though that is viewed as Abe's Grandpa surpriseingly looks like the cave in the Meep Herder village sort of. hehehe I find that to be a coincidence.
