Mr. Rogers Died!

Remember when you were very little and you watched that scary tv show Mr Rogers Neghborhood of Make Balieve on PBS? Well Mr Rogers died the other day from cancer. Oh well I wounder who is going to get his sweaters? That guy scared me because he acted like a stranger. "Hi I am Mr. Rogers wants some candy little girl?" Now is that way to treat little kids acting like that? And that Trolly and the nieghborhood of Make Balieve. Can we say chucky dolls.

J/K Thats a sick mind I have shame on me!

But for real let us remember Mr Rogers and the Neighborhood of Make Balieve and the work he did in teaching our youngins morals in life. I just love it when Mr Rogers went to that picture and he put in the tape that explored a factory that showed how they make crayns or Graham Crackers and other such things. That was probabally my favorite part of that show when I was little. Rest in peace Mr. Rogers.

When Rogers died I got a sad feeling thats It though when I was little I watched him every day so the thought of his death makes me shiver.

But he was pretty wierd/scary

I remember the crayon facotry! I loved that... Mr. Rogers truly rocked. I would watch that show all the time, I loved the make believe place.... Though Sesame Street shall still reign all supreme on old shows.

You want to know the best educational show on PBS that reigned supreme of them all? It was "The Letter People." Sesame Street was cool in its early days but Letter People was a classic! The Letter People was one of my favorite shows. I remember when I was in Kindegarden and we had to dress up like the Letter People. I was "Mr. M Munching Mouth"

Aww... damn you, cancer! Damn you! Mr. Rogers was great... I actually felt sad when he died. That may not sound like much, but I hardly ever feel pity for a stranger who dies. Poor, poor Mr. Rogers... *tear*

Yea I know what you mean. When I heard the news all these childhood memories came through my mind. He was a kind man who stuck to his original idea. Simply he was just kind.

Ferill, a similar thing happened to me. However, it involved Barney the Dinosaur, a stick of Brocolli and a strange teacher who dressed like she was from the Victorian age.

Appearently he was just as nice in real life as on the show, and he also had a good sense of humor. I always used to watch him with my sister when I was young. I think I only watched it at my grandmother's house though. What I hated was the fantasy puppet world (awful voices), and that stupid red trolley (awful sound). I prefered "Mr. Robinson's Nieghboor" more anyhow.
