Tidbits...

You know when you play through the Oddworld games there are always little things that you kinda find funny or cool along the way, but are just there for decoration... post some of those things here (and also post some of the messages on those signs from AO and AE).

I'll start with:

GAME: Munch's Oddysee
LEVEL: Meep Herder Village
TIDBITS: In the Glukkons office there was the wanted poster of Abe with darts in it hanging on the wall. There was a blackboard with Meep + Axe = Meat = $$$. There was also (outside the office) a few barrels with MEEP CHUNKS written on them.

GAME: Munches Oddysee
LEVEL: Egg Storage (The last level... I think that's it)
TIDBITS: Right at the very end, on the Vykkers tables their were hacked up Elums.

Post more... I like hearing what little extras OWI have put into their games!

The last level is called Vykker Suites.

Well, here are some tidbits that I like.

LEVEL: Paramite run and brewery to be
The large skeleton of some animal that the scabs/paramites were eating.

Well.. that's all I can think of right now. I felt sorry for those elums... even though it's only a game, I just can't help but feel sad.

Oh yeah, not really all that good a tidbit but seeing as Sam hasn't actually been explained IN THE GAME I think some n00bs to Oddworld would find it interesting

GAME: MO
LEVEL: LABOUR EGG STORAGE (deffinately that one this time)
TIDBIT: Some where... can't remember exactly.... is a huge sign sayin SAM'S LABOUR EGGS.

I like in AE at the Feeco Depot there is a door saying Vykkers labs. And the led sign saying "Vykkers Labs molding the future for you."

GAME: Abes Oddysee
LEVEL: Stockyard Escape (or somethin like that)
TIDBIT: In the Bgroung their are dead Muds impaled on sticks. Plus, have you noticed how many bloody moons their are on each screen?

FireFrog, wasn't the game to find things that the others didn't saw? or is it just telling the funny things of the games?

I think I remember seeing a doorway on the last level of AE, it was cruedly boarded up with wood and there was a sign which read 'Vyker's Labs...coming soon'

Basically just the little things... that aren't important to the game, but just cool to see anyway.

That is one of my favorite levels. The scenery is exactly what Oddworld scenery should be, especially in an area like that.

Level:Mudokon Fortress?

In one of the areas near the end of the level, there is bomb that is in a crater in the ground. I recall the helicopter type thing in one of the original gameplay movies that dropped a vendo bomb from the sky. Although could it be a different type of bomb?

TIDBIT: Inside the Glukkons office, on his table is the OWI logo.

Game- Munch's Oddysee
Level- It was right after Abe and Munch fell from the Vykkers Ship (I think the level was called Spooceshrub forest).
Tidbit- There is a lone Mud hut with one Mud on top of this cliff thing. Around the end of the cliff there is a bunch of yellow and purple flowers. If you get an above veiw you can see that they form the OWI logo.

Tidbit - Amongst the trees at the start of the level are two swarms of fireflies, last seen in Abe's Oddysee.

Level - Paramite Run
Tidbit - You can possess a Paramite and make it climb up the walls of the valley. Wherever the base of the cliff is tinted red, that's where you can climb up.

Hey thats great! I have to try climbing as a paramite, and that purple and yellow flower thing is cool!

It makes me wonder... do you think there is a hidden OWI logo on every level?

Well there are other appearances of the OWI logo on Oddworld. In Abe's Oddysee you can see it painted on a stone wall in the Paramonian Temple, and some of the slam doors in AE were comprised stacked OWI logos. Oh, and Abe has an OWI pendant.

Abe doesn't have the OWI pendent during the games... well, I personnally never saw it

Oddsville, could you be a little more specific, I didn't see the OWI logo around the lone mud.

Xavier, could you explain where to find the Elum poster in AO?
I've heard about it before, and I searched for it already, but couldn't find it.
